| I have been watching television anime since I was about six years old, but I didn't realize that it was Japanese until I was eleven after a friend of mine had introduced me to Evangelion, so I have been an anime fan for seven years. I also started reading manga around the time I began to really watch anime but I didn't really get into anything outside of the series I was already watching on television or DVD until I was about thirteen or fourteen. |

| well i got into it when i was 5 i started watching DBZ and then after that i was 6-7 and i started watching sailor moon. then i forgot about anime and i got more into it as i started watching pokemon i was 8 and i stopped. then in 6th grade i got into naruto then in 7th grade i got soooo much into it!! and here i am!! so i counted its been 9 years. |

| 20 years or more. My older brother (by 8 years) was really into it, so I was too by extension. We'd always have tapes of anime, and when we'd vacation in Europe during the summer it was always on TV. Not to mention the constant collecting of toys and anything related to anime. |

| Using animes that you've watched when you were NOT A FAN is just cheating. Hey, I've watched anime too, when I was about a month old. That's how ridiculous it sounds. So I'll say the anime that began my career (as an anime fan) was Kanon 2006, about 1.5 years ago. Yeah I'm relatively new. |
