| What I think is funny is that they don't think it's ok to post explicit series but scans of licensed mangas are for the most part totally ok. I am personally not going to miss the yaoi/yuri section nor the shota/loli one but I find it ridiculous that they banned everything with those tags (not to mention the "mature" one). Even if I understand the somewhat dubious reasons why. What I would suggest them to do is to just make them readable for logged in members that have an age of 18+ and remove the ones that according to them have inappropriate content. Sure, this can easily be passed by the underaged users but then it's them who is at fault if their parents gets outraged when finding them reading Highschool of the Dead or Battle Vixens. |

| I'm curious to why the fuck Google would care. They've featured ads on plenty of "unsavory" sites, let alone ones that features Japanese comics. Seems like a rash lawyer/PR damage control in the extremely unlikely event someone links the content of a small percentage of comics to the Google ads. I'm inclined to agree with Jigero; you can say most comics are "just blocked" all you want, (although it appears Battle Royale is completely inaccessible) but for readers, it disinclines them from visiting and reading the site as much. |

| Well, it seems like they're getting around it for some series. I noticed quite a few yaoi series now under the shounen-ai tag, which isn't really all that accurate. Anyway, I'm not really a MangaFox fan because of the terrible quality of the images. Mangatoshokan is slowly building up a really large collection and the quality is just like downloading. |

| I find it a little odd how much people are complaining about this. MangaFox is a FREE online website with various sources that uploads manga that you can read for FREE instead of costing you a fortune. So they removed some stuff, maybe to save their hide, or maybe it was done without their consent. That doesn't change the fact that they have so many other manga on their site that's readily available for your convenience. Mangafox doesn't owe us anything, but yet they're willing to spend time and money to gather all those manga for our pleasure of reading. Sure, the ads are annoying but it's necessary to keep them alive. An analogy for this would be a bunch of people that's given free meals every day. Wonderful portions, so many varieties for free. But yet one day, the free meal varieties had to cut down on one of it's many categories. So instead of appreciating the free meals still of still many varieties, the kids just bitch and moan about how they should get more, when the people owes them nothing. |
