@NoTsPuBy I would say the start of Chimera was slow but it picked up fast. I would definitely put Yorknew over Chimera but they come close in my opinion. Netero vs Ant King and Gon's berserk moment were actually peak though not gonna lie. Man, that one random amv really brought me back to watching videos on it again. Hell, might even do a rewatch.

90% of the Chimera Arc was just building up for the main fights ,I agree those final fights were peak but the Yorknew City arc was consistently great from very start to finish

Yorknew was definitely fire, you are correct. To chime in on the YN, vs Chimera arc discourse: I do think that Yorknew was a better made and more concise arc. The Chimera arc had lower lows, but it *also* had higher highs imo. When I think about my favorite scenes and episodes in all of HxH, there’s def more in the Chimera arc than in Yorknew.

Nah, the start just felt slow cause they had to go back into another training arc. But it wasnt as slow as them spending like five episodes just going up one staircase.

It’s my favorite arc. The build up, the fights, Phantom Troupe. 10/10 across the board. Might be biased since Kurapika is my fav character too

The first time i watched HunterXHunter i saw the "i wanna become a hunter" like "I wanna become hokage" in Naruto and really thought that all the anime would just be Gon trying to become a hunter so when he actually becomes a hunter early on the anime and that it still continues with yorknew arc i cant explain how i fell but it was like i lived in a cave all my life and i leave it and the world is infinitely bigger than my tiny cave.

Just rewatched the entire show again for the 4th time. Absolute greatness every time. Condition x And x Condition is one of the greatest episodes in the entire series.
