It isn't niche. At all.

It's available on CR, Netflix, Prime, and all major platforms. It's also ridiculously easy to pirate. Always has been.

People don't use HIDIVE because they've never heard of it - only "niche" users would know of it.

It's like saying PC gaming is niche because nobody uses EAapp.

Most anime watchers likely pirate it, and those who don't will watch on Netflix or crunchyroll, and almost every non-specific anime streaming service has a decent collection of anime on it.

I also saw recently how 50% or so of Netflix members watch anime on there. So it's larger than you can imagine.

But this is like me saying, "no one really uses tubi TV to watch anime, so therefore anime must be niche."
