Episode 24 (Finale)

To finish things off, the airship enters into hostile territory called the Peregrine Lodge, and meet a girl wearing a fox mask who is said to be a huge fan of Krai's, and seek a level 10 treasure that's hidden there. He previously made a deal the girl to not attack them in exchange for fried tofu. And then boss attacks with Telm and Kechachakka too scared to keep on fighting. But the rest of the Grieving Souls arrive to deal with the menace, all while Krai makes a deal and is asked to offer up what's most precious to him, which is supposedly Kris, but it was actually a carpet. And with that, everything is all well and good as they got what they came to Peregrine Lodge to get, a fox tail, until their airship crashes in the desert. But they make it back and are ready to take another vacation. And while Krai just wants to retire, he will stay on for a little while longer. So with that, another crazy adventure finishes up, and it was pretty funny how things worked out.

Final Thoughts

While the first half was pretty rough around the edges, it was a fun and entertaining time to be had as the comedy does a nice job complementing the fantasy and adventure aspect of this show, making it something that stands out from the long list of fantasy shows. It took awhile for things to get settled in the first half as it was inconsistent and really didn't hit its stride until midway through, while in this season things pick up right away. Overall, the plot construction and jokes are better in the second half, while the storytelling is improved, while once again the characters and creativity carry this show.

Fun as always, with a little more insight into why Krai always gets into trouble but comes out smelling like a rose. Also nice to have a show where the writing is actually good and past events all come together at the end logically. Nice Ti finally got to be part of the group, though still not a fan of the mask making her look like Nezuko. Also who was the blonde elf at the end? I must have fogotten her if she has been mentioned before.

Well, this has me looking forward to another season. I'm glad we got to see the whole Grieving Souls team in action this season. It's a fun group. Maybe they can get Kris to join in.

@MenchiK1 The blond elf was mentioned previously. She's the only person ever to be accepted as a new member of the Grieving Souls. So presumably she is just as much of a menace as the rest of them.

lol at the bit with the fortune teller "How the FK are you even alive with your luck?!"

Overall I enjoyed this. 2nd half more than the first. Hope it gets another season

At least the way he thinks of himself is like the blond hero guy in Reincarnated as a Slime...Masayuki? Where all the people around him worship him, and end up doing everything for him and making him legendary

This is basically what the fortune teller said...but I would have thought his luck was through the roof, I guess it's more that his luck is horrible, so all the misfortune centers on him, but his worshipers are so strong they defeat the bad luck.

@HOOfan_1

I took it more as he attracts friends more than worshippers. They don't ALL worship him.
