Eh Mob psycho S3 is a masterpiece to a trilogy even if I have only watched it one time.

Basically boils down to “I like this one more than others”, great, but not relevant enough to claim it is more than the others.

also, I enjoy Dandadan very much! i think it's been one of the best new gen overall. it has great visuals, stroy is unique, it's romcom aspects are also very refreshing, and the characters seem very real.

new gen or new generation is also a term that's used often in this community. it's usually agreed that 10 years is too far to be called new gen.

Actually, I disagree on this one. Yes, in the anime it's still not visible enough, but as manga progresses, it's the same shounen formula. People like to rag on Demon Slayer but it has similar structure of storytelling. If you didn't read manga yet, be ready for that. I don't saying this is a bad thing. It has good humor, quirky and unexpected moments, good characters that make watching and reading Dandadan fun. But saying that Dandadan makes something with shounen formula is kinda wrong

I don't know what shouen is (small fire?) but I do think you mean specifically ACTION shounen

Not the same genre but I feel like the last big anime we had that has both esp and aliens was probably haruhi


I personally enjoyed Undead Unluck more even though the early chapters had SA played off as a gag

Mob Psycho wins it, Dandadan may be somewhat creative but it already became stale, funny but that’s it

1. Shounen isn't a genre but a demographic.
2. They definitely don't, people call everything new gen, including series like AoT or MHA. Even this thread proves that people don't use it to refer to Shonen shows that came out in the last 5 years, as Mob Psycho 100 has been described as such.
