This is COTE (but we follow Sakayanagi) with romance and comedy.
If you didn't like it then fine. Just don't watch season 2 since we are only going to get deeper into the conflicts and the elections + the romance.

Masachika = Arisu
Yuki = Kiyotaka - revenge against his dad
Regarding their background
In terms of strength Masachika can be Kiyotaka alike depending of his mental states which will be explored in season 2.
Alya would be closer to Suzune in some regards

Ayanokoji literally DEMOLISHES Masachika in terms of physical strength. And it's not even debatable. I've read the LN, and the gap is only widening after the release of Y2V12. Alya = Suzune (Suzune got tons of character development in Y2, like Alya) Yuki = Sakayanagi (in terms of the way they present themselves, in intellect, Arisu > Yuki) As for Masachika... I couldn't think of anyone. Him pulling strings from the shadows is reminiscent of Ayanokoji, but that's all. |

Would really like to see the attention taken away from the student council drama in the second season which is dragging this show down. I realize it is a plot device to get Masachika and Alya closer together, but they really don't need it to be as prominent as it is in this first season.
Masachika and Alya are really great together when they are actually alone together and they get to have their flirty banter. I also wanted to see more development with the families of the two MCs, which of course also means more Yuki gremlin moments. I presume the second season will have more of this.
