Animation is amazing, even though it released in 2006!
I didn't expected, that skull to be Kamina's dad!

The music was weird during the fights. The surface doesn't look like too much of an improvement from the ground with all those mechs, and Kamina gets epilepsy from his dad's fossil

I still can't enough of how fluid and smooth the animation was back then alongside the color artstyle. Kamino managed to ride the gunman. That kick and throw was just awesome. The ending is something I didn't expect for sure..

I just finished the series and I am sobbing. I finished it in one day and idk if its because it's currently 1:26am or if I'm just really emotional but It's a real work of art.

Not much to say it’s a really good episode, so far this show has my interest. Simon getting mad when he found out that the Beastmen were responsible for his parents death was pretty cool to see and Kamina was plain awesome once again.

It was rather sad when he found his dad’s remains at the end. His attack move names and him banging the gun on the chief beastman’s mecha was pretty hilarious though.

Damn they really don't hold back with those shots huh.
Anyway as if this show wasn't already weird enough they introduced Leeron who even managed to make Kamina lose his cool despite him being so cool he literally just went like "whatever" when the character was introduced until he kept bugging him and the straight up went for suggesting SA. Damn suggesting Kamina doesn't have humor is also crazy, good thing he at least told Leeron to stay away from Simon XD. Not that the constant tits in his face is much more appropriate but you know, at least she doesn't seem to be jumping at an opportunity for SA "quite as much" though there's also no way in hell you're gonna convince me that either of those 2 incidents so far were an accident especially considering she's smiling about it. Lol so his Dad kind of just left him, well I guess he had a choice unlike Usopp so he's not "the worst dad in anime" but he's defenitly joining the list of "Went to get Milk" Dads for sure. The technological differences between the 2 underground villages is defenitly a bit weird. Especially somehow the Coffee was the weirdest I mean how can you even produce that, well actually their village did seem a lot "cleaner" in general. Definitely a bit odd though. Also BTW how come we are just completely ignoring the other village, their roof has caved in, they have no means of self defense, and their only weapon is now gone. Seems kind of problematic. 13:00 BTW, never do this to someone especially a kid, it can cause a collapsed lung.
Damn Simon just realized why his parents died, defenitly the first serious face he's pulled that's like practically a whole different face/character. 15:48 The basis of his confidence is real simple: He's him.
Lol not Kamina threatening someone with the gun pointing backwards at himself. Also lol the robot had a special Symbol for Kamina, truly that means he's him.
Lol that scene was crazy, man got so motivated he reprogrammed the robot with pure spirit.
Did he just punch his own arm off XD. Nah... if you tell me that's his dad that's messed up. Wtf, right after the star twinkle and the show pretty much hinting the whole time like "he's somewhere out there" it's like no actually he was that skeleton which Kamina was shitting on earlier and just punched into the ground out of not wanting to die. That's crazy, that's messed up. I mean sure it "makes sense" it's "harsh reality" but I really wasn't expecting that twist. I would have if I actually looked at the opening or his Design on the series "poster image' having the cape... but damn. Guess he's gonna go from hella motivated, to super hella motivated.

Still going strong; Kamina continues to be the best bro there was, and I'm once again rooting for Simon as Kamina does, and dang, Yoko is still fine.

I just love that animation!

Coming back here after Kill la Kill blew my mind years ago is giving me all the feels.

The advancement of Simon and Kamina is a thing to behold. Loved this episode.

Never seen a Trigger Gainax/Trigger anime before, except for Dungeon Meshi and that Star Wars Visions episode.

Really liking the style, the punchy animation and the full-throated dumbness. Gurren sending Gunmen flying over everyone's heads and then throwing Lagann through the dust cloud was just awesome.

a ação mais uma vez aqui, bem presente e ÉPICA, como o que eu esperava de um anime mecha (esse é meu primeiro anime de mecha tirando Evangelion que, meio que não tem o foco nos mechas em si, então estou considerando q esse é o primeiro focado em mechaq vejo), além de nos dar um pequeno vislumbre de quem é o Kamina e o próprio Simon mesmo.
a Yoko e a vila também parece um grupinho divertido de acompanahrKKKK, dei umas risadinhas, e não sei muito bem o que esperar daqui pra frente. apesar disso, estou disposto a continuar vendo até onde vamos... bora la ne
