I think he would've probably misused them based on his past personality. Like how he use to fool people for money. He was quite greedy back then.

But after getting along with mob if reigan's power would've awakened then no... he'd made good use of it.

^^^ the speed at which people can be mean is astonishing, good on y’all for calling it out and being great people.
on a new note, he HAD to have had some small tiny something going right? He could see some things others couldn’t, right? Correct me if wrong I know he literally says and means he has no powers, but what could that have been about? Luck? Convenience for plot? Idk!
But to respond to prompt: Reigen’s not a bad guy, he probably would have still taken in Mob and tricked him into facing scarier baddies for him, since presumably his powers wouldn’t be as strong as Mob, or maybe just making him do it as “training” and Reigen could laze about. Let me know your thoughts on my opinion everyone!

100% this. if he grew up with them he would've been a Hanezawa. But if he awakened them at somepoint since the start of the series I think he would definitely stay on the track he has throughout this series. some points like the TV show to out him in season 2 would've taken some very different turns but I couldn't theorize much about that. I think he'd just be the same guy he is by the end of the series.

He might to a small degree. After all he wasn’t able to see dimple at first but I think it was after the season 1 finale he was able to see dimple so maybe his powers developed after being around mob or something idk

The ability to see Dimple was the residue of Mob power, he mentioned that later on in the same episode!
