| At first before I watched the series I laughed at how they looked. After I started watching the show they grasped me and made me feel as if they had this special magic to them. After I finished after story, and this show became tied for number one place for me, I started to adore these eyes and love them to death. |

| I watched Clannad, Kanon, and Air more than a decade ago. Never did I get bothered, nor noticed the eyes animation. And it did become a defining characteristic of the "Key" series characters (Angel Beats! had a different animation style though). But I did recently have that experience with "Magic Knight Reyearth" when I saw a picture of it and, after 2 decades of familiarity, I just now noticed that the characters have big eyes that are widely seperated, and are overlapping the faces. Idk, maybe I was just less bothered by animation back then. But it will definitely be very noticeable and bothering if a new modern Anime has that kind of animation. |

| CLANNAD EYES ARE REALLY NOT THAT BAD. c'mon, if you are influenced that badly by literal eyes when most Key stories are very good, you are missing out big times. trust me, you will get used to them and they might even become cute!! |
