Thank SO much for the link! I was waiting for a smaller version, since my PC can't play 1080p files, only 720p... I'm so happy the stream quality is very good <3

Subbed By Dattebayo & GG

~Link~
http://www.dattebayo.com/t/

On NyaaTorrents and TokyoToshokan there is another torrent with the tag
" [YAE][Preliminary DB-gg] "
I seems to be the 5.1 surround sound and higher 1080p resolution.
I do not know if they just took the DB-GG script and put soft subs on the Blueray rip.

Downloading Both Now~~~

In your defense, you are correct in some instances. Some fansub groups collect donations so they can purchase OVAs in R2 DVD format when a title isn't popular enough to have a torrent available. There is a high-quality DVD pirating group called niizk that probably does this or borrows the original discs from acquaintances to gain more control over the source material.

But most fansub groups are subbing shows as they air, so they have no DVD/BD discs available. They have to download saved transport streams recorded from Japanese cable TV (.ts files), or "raws" (encodings made from transport streams to be smaller in size or have cleaning done to improve image quality over the original broadcast). Since these are already video files, torrenting would be a natural way of spreading them around quickly rather than burning the file to an optical disc and mailing it to any fansub group that wanted to use it. In the case of the Eden of the East movies, the massive popularity of the series means buying a disc isn't necessary, because someone in Japan will buy the disc, rip it, and torrent the original IFO files from the DVD or make a raw from it and torrent that instead.

For the record, I am not a fansubber. But I do take an interest in video encoding.

Subs are out. From DB-gg.
Tell me if it's a troll or not.

Current version is a 1900 x 1080 resolution. It's legit.

Though, they may be trolling everyone without a decent computer.
