| This is the cycle of life. When real priorities appear in human life, you don't pay attention to imaginary stories. Just the thought that life must be in relation to the society of which it is a part, changes your concept of being part of a world induced by anime. Once you're over 20 years old, you rarely have time to watch anime. With age, more important life concepts appear (family, money, comfort, explorations, etc.) that occupy your time. Imagine wasting average of 4h per day watching animes, instead working for your dreams. |

| Maybe if you're a filthy casual. What's the argument here exactly? Is there a lifespan for the average movie watcher as well? Surely as long as there are good movies that interest you will watch them, my grandma is like 90+ y.o. and she still watches movies from time to time. I don't see how anime is different. |
