Why do people hate Sakura but no hate is shown towards Uraraka?

Because it just became casual thing to hate on sakura. She is not useless, she is not annoying, she is supportive. Sakura in OG naruto was annoying, but in shippuden she is great.

Sakura is not her own character, shes just a plot device to elevate Naruto and sasuke early own. At the start of Shippuden Kishimoto tries to make a character out of her, but thats as far as it goes, she quickly returns to being a plot device.

Uraraka on other hand, at least shes her own character, she has clear motivations and it would be able to stand on her own if Deku didn't exist.

As a comparison, could you tell what would be Sakura's, personality, goals and motivations if Sasuke or Naruto didn't exist?

From what I get Uraraka while is irrelevant when it comes to anything meaningful to the plot. She’s not meant to be. While Sakura is supposed to be really important and on their level as she put it in the ninja war yet she’s not even close to them. That’s why I think many people hate Sakura and don’t mind Uraraka.

I honestly hate Uraraka more than Sakura. Sakura contributed somewhat I feel like, but that's coming from a person who hasn't watched Naruto in about 2 years. Maybe Uraraka is somehow more likeable? Not really sure besides saying that the show sexualizes her more than Sakura. People seen to be drawn to Uraraka past, but I can't see anything besides the fact that she's becoming a hero for the money, and to watch Deku any time he moves.

People hate Sakura not because she is useless, she actually became the strongest kunoichi. People hate her because of her personality and how she treats Naruto in the OG.
Sakura after shippuden was perfect. She is perfect in the last and Boruto.

Uraraka might also be kind useless to the plot, but she isn't a dumb bitch like Sakura. She doesn't do anything on the scale of blindly loving a dude that has tried to kill both you and your friends multiple times, and the one time you can actually stop him you just stand there and cry while your teammates do all the work. Sakura is and always has been insufferable. And let's not forget her thinking she had "finally caught up" with Naruto and Sasuke XD. Just a complete joke of a character.

Uraraka is like Penny from Big Bang Theory.

There's one reason she exists in the first place, and she (along with her romance with the MC, and by extension the lack thereof) is the only reason a not-small number of people continue to watch.

This makes her immune to criticism because without her, the show loses most of its appeal.

Both of them exist to be adorable plot devices for the real characters.

Uraraka hasn’t done anything wrong. She is just another student in the class, learning to be a hero. She is better than some other students in the class too, so no need to hate her. She just has a crush. Also, that crush motivates her to be better and she supports him too. Uraraka Best girl.
