I think this is one of the first few anime which people watch before getting into other anime. Personally, it was the second anime I watched ever before I delved into other anime. That being said, watch it. Don’t worry about ratings so much. I honestly never look at ratings before I watch anime just because it sometimes gets in the way of the experience.

1. season is rly worth watching.... but not others 2 series... for me it was dissapointing ... but maybe you ll like it .... but if i can recommend ... ajin is way more better :3

I think you should watch the first season cause that is amazing and i am unsure about the rest but if you want you can read the manga which is amazing

I wasnt as disappointed as other people with seasons 2 and 3, but then again it was one of the first anime I've ever watched and it got me hooked on anime in general. After I watched more anime I've realized there are better ones out there, but it still holds a special place in my heart.

I have not read the manga, but i still recommend you to just read the manga,,
The anime doesn't make a lot of sense at times and the story is poorly executed
I'm also planning to read the manga, so yeah

You have two options:
Watch the first season because it's actually really good and stop there with this series.
Watch the first season and continue the rest with the manga or just start from the manga.

Watch the first season if you enjoy it read the manga from the beginning that’s what I did and I can say the manga is a lot better then the anime

No. I'm not against unfaithful adaptations (my favourite anime of all time is Fullmetal Alchemist 2003), but Tokyo Ghoul is terrible not only as an adaptation, but also as an anime itself.

Don't ever. It's the shittiest anime you could watch but if you're an edgy teenager why not. Anime doesn't even make sense after the first season.
