Overall Inuyasha was really just a good background show. It was basically a demon of the week jewel shard hunt until it started to just be about naraku. And what's my thoughts on the main villain? Pretty damn bad. I thought he might've been the villain for 30 episodes but him being the big bad of the entire show was lame as hell. But what's my biggest complaint? How much of a self insert the MC is. You can tell this was written by a girl by episode 2 and it's incredibly disappointing. Oh yes every male character falls in love with the mc and it's DEFINITELY not because the author self inserted herself as kagome. Overall this show was pretty mid all the way through with the exception of episodes in the real world which I enjoyed a lot more. 6/10
