Its both good and bad, since prices have really inflated as a result! Hardly can get good deals at the local shop anymore. I've had to turn to amazon for a few of 'em now

Same here, and plus I find it better than owning a digital copy or CD since you can display records with their sleeves. New ones will cost you anywhere from 15-50 bucks (I'm quoting the price in Canadian Dollars)

I got this cool fully orange Ed Sheeran + album vinyl for 30 a while back

I would try to price check around the net and go to your local record store before buying on discogs. It's nice to help out a small business especially when its catering to a niche market (similarly to how comic/anime shops do)

lmao, well some of the stuff I want is obscure stuff from the 50s-90s, some of them I have found around the range of 30 bucks on Discogs but we only have record stores in the city ah hold up...

Fair enough my university was located in a town that had a decent hipster population boom, so there were 2 record stores which carried tonnes of shit. One even had old video games and toys dating way back to the 60s!

I'd recommend the Audio Technica brand for your player

For relatively cheap all-in-one sorta thing, I used the Klipsh 2.1 pro media set for a solid 10 years, and it still works for me except it's out in the garage now

For a little higher, I'd do what Noticing_Senpai said, I have 2 pioneer bookshelf speakers with an amp, and then a seperate powered sub to make up for their lack of bass

Its not too bad the amp was 20 dollars and I had spare wires at home to drive them.

The exact model was: Pioneer SP-BS22-LR Andrew Jones. Seemed list best bang for buck
