| Taking a break before going to work again: I got Maid Alter instead of Lancer Raikou after yolo-rolling. I'm okay with her, but I wish I got Raikou instead of Maid Alter. After coming back from work: I bought 76 quartz before doing yolo rolls again, and I got Nightingale, Rhyme, and then finally Lancer Raikou. Whew, that's good I got her, but I think the Desire sensor was messing with me for giving me a few new servants that I'm not interested in before Lancer Raikou for some reason. |

I'm speaking from experience of having a long history of splurging a huge amount of wealth and owning many 5/5 stars/np Servants. I'm not sure if DW recently changed their algorithms or they're out for whale blood but rate-up as of now is a HORRIBLE GOD DAMN LIE. I'm sure Kei can also attest to this. Summer Gacha 1 experience: It took me suffering 2 Enkidus and 2 Mordreds to finally get my 5th Summer Nero. Along the way I also got to experience the joy of; 1x Frankenstein 1x Beowulf 1x Penthesilea 2x Emiya 1x Atalanta 1x Emiya Alter 1x Eizabeth Bathory 2x Fionn 1x Marie Antoinette 1x Martha 1x Anne Bonny 1x Nitocris (Summer where!?) 1x Hessian Lobo Out of these the Summers I was able to obtain were : Summer Fran 3/5 Summer Nobunaga 8/5 Summer Nitocris 5/5 Summer Gacha 2 (Raikou rate-up) experience: Oh boy this one was the worst just trying to get my 5 copies of Summer Raikou. Yeah, professional TLers still massively vary between good and bad, but localization is the only possible way FSN would ever receive a new translation - since nobody is going to do a fan TL of a VN that has been translated and read by most over the decade. Even if FSN localization did get a shitty TL, we'd just be back to round one (FSN that has a bad TL), but due to it's popularity and the fact that most TL companies want to TL FSN, it's likely they'd fish in some good TLers for the project which means we'd actually have a FSN with a proper TL. Better have a chance than no chance at all. Even in BL, it's common consensus that the fanTL for FSN is really bad as it ruins Nasu's prose and doesn't really home in character points as well as the original does, hence why every TLer and their mum wants a re-translation of FSN. On a side note, Mahoyo IS being done by Mcjon, but he's doing it solo without any help so can't expect him to go on a faster pace. It's good enough that he took on the project as-is. As for CCC, the problem with CCC has always been that it requires more coding than VNs do so people aren't as willing to translate it (as is the case with most ''VNs''/RPG games that are on a different platform than PCs, but there IS a guy who's currently translating CCC and Gil route is fully TL'd. The guy is just going at a slow pace). Btw, one of the three TLers for FGO is excellent, but yeah the other two aren't really good. |
| If NA F/GO leads to an English CCC, then it was all worth it. I'd rather have that than an English option in JP F/GO, to be perfectly honest. Don't get me wrong, keeping my progress AND getting the translation would be awesome, but while F/GO keeps getting translated by fans and the majority of CCC is left in the dust, I think where my priorities lie would be obvious.
