| I haven't. I did want to pick up the original 60s version out of historical interest but the English dub doesn't have all of the episodes. I believe only a few episodes were ever fully subbed. I'll probably read the manga or pick up another version instead. Same for stuff such as Tetsujin where watching the 2004 one is most likely to me. | Another Osamu Tezuka one for me to get around to. I've had the four episodes that were subbed on my external HD for ages. There was a point where I was going around and gathering up subs for old school anime series that were incomplete haha. I don't know if I'll bother with the dub or not, probably another case where I'll be reading the manga because I've heard the edited and cut version was used regarding the English dub. | Yes, I loved the show even though I am quite familiar with the novel. I thought the execution was great and the music was very fitting. But what stood out the most and remains by far the most memorable aspect of the show is the art style. Very different but interesting visuals which were like nothing I had seen at the time.
