| Looks like it's hell I'm walking into. I want to try using the servants I never actually got to using in my original account due to roflstomping everything with 5 Star servants. Might try using Emiya, Cu, and the REGEND cause I never really used them before, and apparently they're all good. EDIT: Going by some screenshots, this translation is shit. They honestly should have just added an English option to the current Japanese build. I know I know, gotta keep the filthy gaijins out and make some money. Oh and something about text limit and the way nasu words his stuff making it hard af to do. |
| I'm honestly just hoping NA server fails so they can move the English language over to the JP servers as a language option like in GBF. No one should have to go through material farming hell a second time. Thinking of all the new players rerolling 5* servants unaware of the hell they will go through to even ascend them makes me shudder. |
| I totally forgot ascension hell was a thing. I remember spending months trying to get enough scales to ascend Gil once, and now I have almost a hundred. Yeah, I doubt I'm actually going to play this for long once the novelty of rerolling wears off. EDIT: The best part of starting over again is that Black Keys are still in the paid gacha. The memes live on. |

| Yeah, the problem with starting fresh isn't the long events or the low AP, it's the grind for mats. I'm sure it's much easier to do now in the NA version compared to the JP launch thanks to all the subsequent improvements, but going through this one time was enough. Not to mention, once the JP side starts putting out what they've been working on for 4 months now (Agartha and the Summer event) no one will have time for the NA version anyway. For me, I'll make an account, reroll for a bit to get at least Waver and then let it accumulate Quartz over time. Who knows, having a starter account this early could come in handy some day. This mode allows for all kinds of characters to be inserted and viewed properly by the game making it more than possible to insert all languages into this one package. This mode is disabled by default. No English in the JP version has nothing to do with technical difficulties, so that makes it even more upsetting. |

This is why I'm extremely glad we got a story translation, regardless of the hassle. I kinda got sick of rerolling so I'll stick with my initial roll, which is actually pretty good overall (Liz & Carmilla). When I get Herc and use Waver through support, I'll be mostly covered for most of the story, hopefully. |
This is where Siegfried's meme began. Overall, I am really enjoying the game. It feel completely different than just going around beating monsters. All those servants interaction that I have missed. they make me care about servants I never care. Even little moments like Elizabeth and Kiyohime insulting each other was hilarious. |

There has been a drought of new Fate material for a while now, sans the occasional Strange Fake and Prsima Illya chapter every forever, so getting new content is always great. If this was a VN on the PC, I'd make a save on each choice and view them all before continuing. I obviously can't do that though and it will be a hassle to replay a cutscene to see them. | I managed to roll a Waver on my 6th reroll so at least I should be able to steamroll through everything. Code is 306,222,511 for those interested. Shitty translations aside, at least I'll be able to understand what's going on. Won't really save shitty chapters like Septum, but I imagine chapters like Okeanos and London would seem better with the ability to actually understand the characters. |

| Logging back into my Jap FGO account after playing the American FGO has really made me lose motivation to play the American one. There's so much I have to actually work towards getting. It's so much worse knowing how much you have to gain but not having it immediately than just starting a game with no expectations. It's like watching a show where a character you like gets amnesia in a dumb arc and you spend every minute waiting for them to get their memory back cause the show is bad without that character's memories (looking at you Twin Peaks). |
