| I had seen RE:0096 just because it had been released at the time I was following the animes of the season, but I didn't have much experience with Gundam, so I didn't get much out of it and I even thought the anime was good, because the fights were really cool and the soundtrack helped a lot. Now having some background on the story, I found it weak. It seems like a repeat of the same Gundam stories, Banagher reminds me a bit of Kamille, especially in the emo moments. The most interesting thing was understanding a little more about Marida, who was the character I liked the most, even more so now seeing that she is a clone of Elpeo Ple from ZZ Gundam. Up until OVA 6, I would say the anime was decent, but OVA 7 was hard to follow. One of the things I hate most about the franchise is when it starts getting fantasy-y and tries to be philosophical, but it's all very cheap and boring. |

| The BEST gundam has ever been in my opinion idgaf argue with your mother. I cried multiple times throughout this series not out of sadness, but legitimately because of how peak it was. I think it’s so beautiful that the overarching message is trusting in the goodness of humanity rather than being pessimistic. Mineva and Banegher made the correct decision. Telling the truth about the charter may bring some short term issues, but long term it’s the right thing to do. I believe in the possibility of humanity. I just hate Marida couldn’t get a happy ending. Purus never do in this franchise 😢 but my mineva and banegher ship is alive |
