Ah, so the girl's name was Lei! Ashe felt a bit better now that she was no longer in the dark. As the conversation progressed, Ashe was pleased to see she wasn't the focus, and so she returned to her comfortable spot in the background with her lips locked tightly.

Alias seemed to be the most interesting person present, at least in Ashe's eyes. He was eccentric and his tone came off as devious. If Ashe didn't know any better, she almost would have believed his threat to jump to his death. In fact, she still wasn't entirely convinced it was a jest. As for the comment about her name, she let it go in one ear and out the other, but he was right to take notice of its strangeness, which enforced her belief that there was more to Alias than one could simply observe.

She looked back and forth between Alex and Alias. It looks like they already know each other. Maybe they're friends. She didn't really know what to say to them so she just watched their interactions. She watched Alex take out a box of pocky and munch on some. Oh he has pocky. I like pocky. I should go buy some. Did he buy it at the cafeteria? Or maybe he had to go to a store outside? I hope it's at the cafeteria. I don't want to make a trip outside just for pocky. But then again, it would be nice to get used to the area. But still.. She continued to get lost in her thoughts.

Well she made it to the rooftop. Her brother had brought more people here than she expected. She figured no one would come up to the rooftop when someone was spouting noise like that. It seems that she was mistaken. Hanakiri didn't approach anybody or didn't say anything to anybody in particular. She was more interested in what would happen in this place where all these people were.

Listening to Alias throw his ego around made Alex a little annoyed. Talking about how Alex's assumption had ruined his fun etc. All very dramatic. Alex didn't believe a word of it to be honest.
He simply flicked his hair from his eyes and pulled out another stick of pocky.
Just as he was about to put it in his mouth he noticed one of the girls staring intently at the pocky. It was Yumi, she looked very intrigued yet almost absent minded.
Snapping his fingers he directed his next question at Yumi
"Would you like some? I see you're eyeing me off for it."
He added a slight chuckle at the end before holding out the open pack of pocky to the girl.
Ashe still hadn't said much, but at least the colour had returned to her face after seeing Lei, she looked a tad more comfortable now, but he couldn't help but notice Ashe's stare at Alias. He could tell she was interested in him. For what reason, Alex had no clue.
He glanced over his shoulder at Lei, her cane in hand and still looking away from Alex. Had she even noticed him? I mean, the bright purple hair can't be too hard to miss can it?
Either way, he would probably have to confront her sooner rather than later. Turning his head back to the group in front of him
"My leg's fine, no thanks to you"
Alex mumble to Alias, looking down at the bandaging which the Moral Committee president, Seth, had done for him. It was holding rather well for just a makeshift job.
"The Moral Committee president helped me out. I'm glad Itook your advice doctor, I don't think I could have survived without it"
He said mockingly before breaking one of the pocky sticks in his mouth.

Alias Von Baiyan

The matter was a bit funny, Alex thought he was lying when he really wasnt, well most of it wasnt a lie. Well when Alias lied it was to the point that he would even believe his own lie for a moment. Lieing wasnt a habit for him and he wasnt trying to make it one, at least for the time being. All Alias could reply to Alex's mockery was a smirk, it wasnt to be taken highly so why waste time while his atttention was flowing towards something else.

What caught his attention was Ashe's stare towards him, it wasnt anything new, people stared at Alias quiet a bit for various reasons, like for example his silver hair which bewildered some people or because they couldn't find out what kind of personality he had since he'd always try and trick people for his amusement, it didnt seem to bother him anymore. Though this girl was staring at him diffrently, she was trying to look through him, and she certainly seemed like she was making progress. It didnt bother him much, but it put him a bit on edge. This girl was acting like a few authority figures he'd ran into, nevertheless she was acting a bit like himself.

Alias didnt realize that he was returning the stare until his mind snapped at him to stop "I assume there's something on my face? Or something of the sort, or maybe your a bit interested in me and pondering whether or not id make a good partner?" he teased, playing off their stares to each other.

Yumi seemed to be caught up with Alex, or more specifically Alex's snack, which wasn't all that surprising since that cookie stick probably had more personality than the boy himself. Ashe bit her tongue. She didn't truly mean it, she was just in a bad mood due to the crowded venue and decided to mentally lash out at the easiest target. Well, as long as Alex wasn't trying anything malicious, Ashe had no issue with his assertiveness.

That train of thought only lasted for a moment before her eyes fixed back on Alias who was now staring at her. If this continued long enough he would surely speak up to break the tension, unless he somehow managed to outmatch her own patience. Simply staring at someone was a reliable way to make them approach you, a skill Ashe had learned in order to compliment her natural cowardice. With that in mind she was prepared to reply to him without much added thought. "There's nothing on your face save for a look of bewilderment. Have you seen a ghost?" Ashe smirked at her joke and cast him a sly look that rivaled his own. "Sorry to say I don't do 'partners'. That would imply we're equals... Any interest I have in you can be chalked up to ordinary curiosity."

The smirk on his face wouldnt seem to leave. "Alas Curiosity can lead to many things. If the first humans on earth were not curios, would they not have discovered fire? If humans were not curios what led them to inventions and discoveries. If the Americans were not curious, would they have invented the Atom bomb, to stop the Japanese? I think not. You dont do partners? Well i think your missing out, missing what? Lets leave you be curious about that as well. He said the smirk still on his face, slowly fading away.

Alex and Yumi seemed to have their own conversation going, whatever Alias had planned for Alex wasnt an interest to him anymore. He'd been tempted to pull out a cigarette a few times but he urged himself not to. Alias was putting up with not having his necklace for so long, he haaaad to plant it for the Moral Committee president didnt he, he was tempted to stroll over and ask for it back, how he knew she had it would be a mystery. Ashe was keeping him company till now, but he might as well leave before they broke out a debate about curiosity, and what was to erupt between Alex and Lei wasnt of interest to him either. "Hmmm, ill be taking my leave now, see you around, maybe?" he said as he strolled off waving his hand over his head as he left. His hand going down for a cigaretter before he stopped himself and went on.

He giggled a little, just the reaction he thought he would get. Yumi snapped to attention once Alex mentioned the pocky. She looked very cute, the way she nibbled on the pocky was humorous. He thought about petting her on the head, but he didn't want to seem to weird. Maybe once they were a bit better friends.
Thinking this made him laugh a little more before he heard the girl's question he snapped back to the current conversation.
"Hmm? No my little sister got this for me, I'm not quite sure where she is at the moment."
He looked around the rooftop, and didn't spot his sister anywhere. Where could she be? She was supposed to come up here after she was done in the infirmary.
"Maybe the two of us could go check out the city a little later?"
He suggested before taking out one more piece of pocky and holing it in his mouth.
Meanwhile Ashe had come out of her shell a little more. She denied being interested in Alias however Alex thought that wasn't exactly the case. She gave a comment, which for the first time, seemed like she was actually speaking from the heart. Even if the comment wasn't exactly the nicest of things. Alex made a little bit of a distasteful face upon hearing the comment, but he didn't let it show to Ashe. To think that such a timid girl could come out of the gates with a comment like that? It was something unheard of to Alex.
Before long Alias had seemed like he lost interest, it was just like last time. He'd swoop in, make a comment and leave. How very uninteresting Alex thought to himself as Alias turned to make his leave. He decided that Alias wasn't really his cup of tea, and hence would probably stay on the far side of the room to him, next time they saw each other. He wasn't any help, but he wasn't too much of a nuisance. It was just something that bugged Alex about Alias' personality that led him to want to avoid him.
"So you had nothing planned after all? How anti-climactic"
Alex commented before Alias turned and left. Not that it would sway Alias' decision, if he truly was uninterestedd.

She didn't bother responding to Alias before he turned and left. Actually that wasn't quite accurate. Ashe couldn't think of a witty retort fast enough before Alias turned and left, and she felt a bit defeated because of that. His departure left her equally relived and disappointed. Ashe wouldn't have minded talking to him for a bit longer, but she also knew she wouldn't be able to keep up with him socially in her current state.

It seemed like Alex knew him though. Maybe she could get a bit more information to assist her judgement. "Can-" She barely got a word out before realizing she had nearly interrupted his chat with Yumi. Gods! Can't I do anything right!? But the gods didn't respond to her plea. Ashe felt totally isolated at that moment, wondering where she would be better off standing there awkwardly like a third wheel, or finding different company. The latter of the two options went against her nature, so Ashe chose to stand her ground, scowling at her own weakness.

"Such a mess... why must everyone insist on being so ostentatious around here," she concluded, turning her eyes away from the damages and towards the inhabitants of the overly occupied rooftop. It was then she noticed three girls with varying lengths of artificially blonde hair approaching.

"Hey, L-e-e-e-e-i," one of them said with a sneer as she passed her by and provided around to face her back, her golden locks flaring as she did. The girl with the shortest hair scurried up swiftly behind the first girl, snatching away Lei's walking stick while glaring smugly. Almost falling from her stick being taken away , she instinctively stepped backwards, only to be painfully pushed forward by the girl behind her towards the last of the chic attired students who stood with her arms fold1ed and her head tilted.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of having such insignificance pester me?" She asked, though was responded to only with a sharp smack across her face by the girl facing her.

"We heard you stabbed Alex in the field this week. We just think that's s-o-o-o-o inconsiderate since Nao here has a crush on him," she short haired girl interjected, throwing a glance to Nao, the girl who slapped Lei.

"Wow, I can just taste the intelligence rolling off your tong-" another smack struck Lei in the same cheek, this time drawing blood.

"Listen here, bitch," now said, gripping Lei roughly by the hair and pulling her close. [color=darkblue]"Don't think the likes of you have the right to be around the popular people, you make me sick," she added, spitting on Lei's forehead as she did. As this happened, Lei tapped the small blue screen on the device on her wrist.

"You think that pretty haircut is going to make guys talk to you? You disgusting little cripple? I think we should give you a haircut more reflective of the rest of her hideous body, what do you say girls?" she asked rhetorically as each of their grins grew more malicious in the face of the pair of scissors each now raised and clipped tauntingly. Clearly they had come prepared.

"But the best part about all this is that because you are you, we can do this right here and no one will care. That's what happens when you're a loser, freak," she said before gripping a chunk of Lei's hair and cutting it with the scissors.

She waited... And she waited... And she waited... With no use. Soujiro didnt seem to have heard her, and repeating herself would make her look desperate. Pass.

Sighing, she looked around, only to see Lei surrounded by some girls. At first she tought they knew each other, even if she knew that Lei couldnt possibly have any friend given her personality, and she was right when she saw the girls push her around and slap her. Seeing them cut her hair made her unconsciously run her hand by her neck as if she was looking around for her hair, even if it was tied in a high ponytail, then she frowned.

She might be a bitch, but there are limits... she tought, then she walked towards the group, grabbing a glass of punch from a table as she walked that way.

Getting behind the girl that cut Lei's hair she lightly tapped her shoulder, and after she would turn around to face her Seth would smile.

-Oi oi, dont be mean to each other. You dont want karma to turn against you, right? she said in a cutesy tone, then as she side stepped to get around the girl and in front of her she pretended to have tripped, spilling the drink on the blonde's clothes, skin and hair as she pretendes to gasp.

-Oh my, silly me! she said, then she giggled softly before she looked at the girl with a smile: a defiant one, accompanied by a strange glint in her eyes Looks like I jynxex it, right?

Earlier said:

Peering slyly beyond a corner of the hallway, Lei watched as Seth, the moral committee president, made her way to the rooftop. It's always good to know where a person of that title is located; particularly now. Earlier Lei had received a note that was slid under her desk in her last class. Various threats were scrawled across it under the guise of promises. Naturally, Lei proceeded to examine the writing of everyone's books in their desks after class for cross-examination.

Once she found a suitable match, she began to survey the culprits. The discovery of scissors in her locker and plans in her phone's messages, both less than legally discovered by Lei, made the plan clear. Next, Lei subtly pretended to be deep into a phone call while she just 'happened' to pass by Nao in the hallways.

"Ah, the rooftop should be free, there's never anyone up there. I'll head there now, see you when you get there in half an hour," she said, ensuring Nao would be able to hear her. The sooner this was over the better... the wig was beginning to itch.

The girls released Lei once Seth came. Nao looked as though she was contemplating striking Seth after the spillage incident but better judgement stayed her hand.

"Come on girls, lets go. This isn't over Lei," Nao said in parting as she stood up and paced towards the exit.

"You're the ones walking away. It looks over to me," Lei taunted, making them only walk that little bit faster out.

"Oh, that was so much more fun than just threatening them myself," Lei said with a smile as she reached her hands up to her hair, which had been significantly cut down, and rooted inside it. Unclipping the wig, she tossed it in a nearby, conveniently placed bin allowing her undamaged hair to flow free.

"Thank you for playing you part perfectly Ms. Magnus. Now that they think the m.c. president has her eyes on them they won't try anything as... audacious again. "

-Ohoho, did you bet on the fact that a figure of authoruty, or someone with some kind of influence will be here? If you did, GG is all I say. she said as she showed a thumbs up with a wink and smiled, then she scratched the back of her head as she averted hee gaze, still smiling.

-Dont call me Ms. Magnus, it makes me feel old. "Bet? Sweet Seth, chance is what people turn to in lieu of opulent information," Lei replied, before attempting to pick her cane up off of the ground. It was an arduous task for her but she managed to claim it without allowing the toll of her efforts to be shown.

"I appreciate the imagery, but if those students approach me again it will be me you'll sentence, so I'll withhold that thanks you took for granted because I won't go so lenient on them again," she said, making no attempt to hide her sadistic promise in front of the president. Which, considering it was not out of stupidity, was quite the daring move.

When Lei spoke about chance she put on a toughtful face, letting out a "Hmmmm..." before she lightly nodded. Lei had a point in there, and extra points for first name usage. After that Lei took her cane from the ground, Seth not seeing her struggle, and then she spoke about what would actually happen if those girls would try somwthing fishy again.

-As long as you are striking back with reason, it gets labelled "selfdefense" and the punishment will be chosen according to that. she said like reciting from an instruction manual, then she smiled. So as long as you dont harrass them randomly, they will receive the bigger punishment.

After explaining himself to Yumi about his acquisition of pocky on campus. He laughed a little more, making some small talk. Just when he had though he heard Ashe make a noise he heard some commotion behind him.
Looking around the roof to see what was going on, he noticed Lei being picked on by some of the girls who were always trying to hang around him. Honestly, he thought they were a little annoying, and doing this to someone wasn't acceptable in Alex's eyes. Luckily, Seth had come to Lei's aid. Even though she said she doesn't take her job seriously she definitely wasn't lousy about it.
He was genuinely concerned about Lei however, so turning back to the two girls he quickly excused himself.
"Sorry, I've got to go and check this out."
He said hastily, he didn't care if it was blatant that he cared about Lei, since it was his intention.

Hurrying over to Lei who was just picking up her cane he had a look of concern on his face. It was one thing to have a conflict with someone, but it was another thing to kick people while they were down. Lei may have been one of those who kicked people while they were down. But he believed that no one deserved to have that happen to them.
"Lei, What happened? Those girls been causing trouble?"
He asked, worried, hurrying to her side. He saw that her mouth was bleeding and she looked pretty beaten up. Instinctively he tried to support her, making sure that he was being as gentle as possible.

"That's the silent beauty of it though. All things considered... any form of physical aggression against me could just as readily end me. So it can then be considered an extreme threat to my life. That would give me a lot of leeway in the degree of my self-defence then, wouldn't it? she retorted, playing with the girl a little through her insidious implications.

Her attention was soon divided however, upon the approach of Alex. She gripped her cane instinctively and grew rigid as he approached. She controlled herself as soon as she caught herself doing this however, taking a small breath before responding to his concerns for her well-being, concerns she wasn't very fond of him displaying.

"It seems I will have to pay more attention to who I stab, less I face the wrath of the cheerleader squad' again," Lei said sarcastically with a roll of her eyes, already frustrated by his mere presence, let alone the aforementioned encounter. She noted his attempt to support her, and shook her head disapprovingly in the face of his attempt, signifying that support was not something she needed.

He noticed Lei tensing up as he approached and backed off a little, he didn't want to come one too hard with her. I mean she did stab him after all.
Adding to this, she shook her head as he tried to offer his help. This warranted a disappointed look on his face while looking at the wounds Lei had.
Pulling out his handkerchief he dabbed at her mouth, cleaning the blood dripping down. His look of disappointment dissipated soon and turned to one of relief, she was still the same Lei who had stabbed him earlier. She wasn't going to be defeated that easily.
"You said the cheer leader squad? They've been trying to get close to me for a while now. This didn't happen because of me did it?"
He asked her, the look of relief fading, into one of concern now. He felt a deep sorrow in his heart. Knowing that all this had happened because of him. He stared at his feet, something he usually did when he was upset. In a low voice he voiced his concerns to Lei
"I-I'm sorry... This only happened because of me..."
His voice sounded like it was about to break, but he held his composure, clenching his fists

The sensation of the handkerchief against her lip tickled her feverishly; pain was not the only sensation her neurons enhance. She barely managed to maintain her smug facade in lieu of deteriorating into a laughing mess, the pains of her struggle made evident by the corners of her mouth slightly turning upwards for but a passing instant before being forced down into a frown for the process to reinitiate.

Once he stopped he began to speak, his words lined with extrapolating grief. This was like a dream come true; someone falling into despair because of her and she didn't even have to do anything to him this time. Lei could easily discern how fragile his temperament currently was from a glance at his fists; classic catharsis. Now how should she best tip him over the edge? The question spawned a myriad of possibilities in her mind, though she chose one for reasons unknown to her, as though she was compelled to by some intrinsic cognition.

"No, it had nothing to do with you. Unless you want to insinuate that it was your fault that I stabbed you. Which, need I say, is reasoning of utter injudiciousness," she said, in a surprising attempt to make him feel better. Perhaps it was wrought from an obligation of gratitude, feeling as though she owed him for how she treated him.

She had panicked and shamed herself. To resort to violence, as she had with Alex, was unforgivable as it demonstrated low cunning and ignorance to any alternative.

Hanakiri looked over to the group of people who seemed to be interacting in a close manner.

That sure looks like a tense situation...

From what ?Hanakiri could gather...The purple haired boy had intrigued the brunette with Pokey. There also seemed to be a blond girl that was into the white haired boy. The white haired boy want't really paying attention to her. The brunette accepted the pokey from the purple haired guy since he offered her some. The white haired boy asked the girl a few questions...one of them were completely wrong while the other one was right on mark. Hanakiri didn't know which was right or wrong because she didn't know them that well. The girl responded saying that it was simply ordinary curiosity... It was an answer she wasn't expecting but it was still an answer that was viable. The white haired boy went on to speech about curiosity and left. The purple haired boy was amused by the girl eating pokey. Hanakiri didn't see what was so interesting about the Pokey but she didn't want to stress her brain out trying to figure out such a complicated social interaction. The purple haired then seem'd to had tried to provoke the white haired guy. It was all too strange of an interaction. She decided not to direct her attention to that group anymore.

There seemed to be a group of girls surrounding the one guy and they were bickering and fighting.

There was true human nature..to fight for stupid reasons. It's why I don't trust them now.

A girl then came over and try to break up what was going on. It seemed like she calmed down the situation. The things that were happening were a bit cringe worthy for Hanakiri. Out of everything that she saw, she didn't like how the girl broke up the fight. What right did she have to do that. Just because she has a title doesn't mean she needs to exert it the way she did.

He shook his had a little, trying to clear his head. Too many thoughts were buzzing around inside. Would he continue to be the reason people got hurt? Would he just sit back as these things happen? He clenched his fists once more as he raised his head to look at the bruised figure in front of him, Lei's figure. She was saying something that Alex didn't really hear, something about it not being his fault for her stabbing him. Even though this was completely true. If he hadn't hugged her to begin then those past events would have never transpired. Maybe if he had just squeezed his hands around her frail neck when she presented the chance, then none of this would be troubling him right now. As he thought this his hands twitched in Lei's direction, before Bliss' voice called out to him snapping Alex out of those immature thoughts. Bringing his hands back to his side. Killing someone right now would solve nothing, especially the girl who he was trying so hard to get on her good side.
The familiar voice of Bliss in the back ground warranted a smile on Alex's face as he looked in the direction of his little sister.
"Now Now Bliss. What kind of guy do you think I am? Lei here was being bullied by some other girls just before. I'm just helping her out"
He said, his voiced wavered ever so slightly at the beginning of the sentence, but he regained his footing halfway through, making him seem more confident. He didn't mind being called 'Alex-nii-chan' she was his little sister after all, the fact that she so happily announced it did not disturb him.
He turned his attention back to Lei's figure, he didn't want to look her in they eyes as of now. He probably couldn't bare the sight of Lei's gaze.
"Well, if I hadn't hugged you then it probably wouldn't have happened. "
He explained to her simply. In the presence of Bliss, Alex tried to look confident and unaffected by his thoughts and the recent events. The sight of his worrying sister would not only be annoying, but undesirable at this point in time. Having him worry was enough, he didn't want to burden anyone else along the way.
"Do you need to go to the infirmary of something Lei?"
He asked her, it was genuine concern. He thought it be best for him to show this concern however futile the attempt may be.
With that he stood with his hands on his head, feeling as though he just ran 10km while he waited for Lei's response

Lei observed Alex with peerless eyes; her enhanced senses picking up on almost every little slip of emotion he was unable to masquerade. The retracted impulse of his hands motioning towards her was the most important display and she was curious to discern what his intentions would have been. Wrath? Lust? Concern? Inconclusive; she surmised, swiftly moving on.

"Ah yes, now that you mention it I will need to go to the infirmary at some stage. But not for me, and not right now," she said, referring to Shirayuki, the female student who had just recently lost her arm. Shirogane industries has an entire department dedicated to prosthesis; so it was only natural that Lei extend a hand to this girl... Literally.

As for Alex... She wasn't enjoying his melancholic mood. She preferred him when he was happier.. for reasons currently lost to her. Sighing, she didn't even need to think about what to say to rectify this situation before speaking.

"If you didn't hug me I might have left the field earlier and gotten hit by a car, or I mightt have had the time to buy some sweets before class and later choked and died eating them. Life is too innately chaotic to really know what could have happened if. Besides, I- actually, never mind," she said, catching herself just before she got carried away and said something she would regret.

Bliss was an interesting addition. She had done her research on the girl before but this marked their first actual encounter. She waved at the girl and introduced herself as Lei Shirogane, informing her that it was a pleasure to meet her and that she should be proud of her brother for being so... Noble. She tried not to be sarcastic when she said it, which was hard to do given he only came after they left.

Unfortunately, Ashe missed her chance to speak up since Alex excused himself and left in a hurry. As someone who wasn't all that comfortable in social situation, having anything go wrong really bothers irk Ashe, and she was beginning to feel very insecure all of a sudden. Her eyes followed him to Lei and the girl who seemed to be president of the Moral Comitee if Ashe heard correctly. That was a group she had absolutely no intention of mingling with, even though it pained her to see Lei get harassed like that.

Considering all that transpired, Ashe felt she needed to do something to get her confidence back, something daring but also just. I suppose this party has to end sooner or later. Ashe promised Soujiro she would step in if things got out of hand, and it was now obvious that was the case.

"Yumi, could you come with me." Ashe didn't wait for Yumi to comply before she took her wrist and led her along. Bringing her with made Ashe feel more comfortable than if she were to go alone, and she hoped it would urge Soujiro to be less hostile than he otherwise would be. Ashe marched her way across to the host with an air of authority in her stride, though none of her frustration was apparent on her face. "Yamashita." Since she was already doing quite badly in terms of social etiquette, interrupting whatever conversation he was part of didn't bother Ashe at all. "Apparently you are unable to control your guests. It's time to call off this get-together before things get any worse." Ashe was still gripping Yumi's wrist, which made it rather obvious that she needed the girl's support. If everything went well, this entire kerfuffle could be settled in a civil manner, but are things ever that easy?

Hearing Lei's voice didn't seem to calm him down. His fists were still clenched, but he kept his head up in the presence of his little sister. Hearing Lei talk was enough for him to be annoyed at this point.
"You seriously believe that? That you could have been hit by a car or the likes if I hadn't hugged you?"
He face contorted with anger as he continued
"Don't be ridiculous. That would never happen, unless you went out with intention of it happening"
He continued, but stopped quickly, realising his anger had gotten the better of him. He forced himself to smile at Lei, he could see the intent behind her words now. She hadn't done anything wrong, so there wasn't a reason to be mad at her.
"Just... If you need something.... ok?"
He his sentence was broken up, hopefully she had gotten the message he had poorly conveyed. This was the first time in what seemed like forever to Alex that he had actually cramped up in the company of a girl.

At what point did the conversation she was watching previously intertwine with her current conversation. Her brother had cooked the food around here so she could trust it...right? Hanakiri didn't want to think that she couldn't trust it. She moved over to the grill that Shoujiro had left unattended. She clicked her tongue at the food he made and got herself a burger. She pulled her sleeves back before reaching out fore the burger and got one for herself to eat. She didn't plan on just going to the grill and eating next to it. Besides everyone would come over here to grab their good anyway. Most of the people however were occupying other areas as well however. She was going to move away until she heard her last name and it made her jump causing her burger to fall off her plate. It was sad to see her food that she didn't even take a bite out of yet to have such a short life. She picked it up and looked over to hear why her last name was called. It wasn't directed to her but to her brother. She felt stupid for getting startled all of a sudden by something that didn't even pertain to her. Apparently he was getting blamed for the company he brought up to the roof. If he couldn't control his guest he would not be allowed to have this small gathering. She couldn't contain her thoughts on this one. It was utterly

Absurd.

It was the only thing that would be free from her mouth. She wouldn't say it especially loud for anyone in particular to hear. It wouldn't be a whisper either. It would be a a normal volume with a bit of a confident edge. She didn't care that her brother was being 'attacked' by this person but she did care that they were blaming someone else because they didn't like how someone else was acting. It was almost like how children would tell the teacher when someone else did something unpleasant to them. What do you really expect that teacher to do.

Some of her previous commotion she was watching had also escalated for a bit but it quickly calmed back down. She threw her fallen burger away and approached the scene where she heard her last name. She didn't get so close to attract attention to her self but she did get close enough to hear what was going on. The next interaction would surely be interesting.

- Hmmm... If it is life-threatening, then you do have the liberty to use kick-ass self-defense, but only for the use of defense and escape, not meaningless attacking. she said, trying to recall if what she said was correct or not, but she was interupted by a guest star.

Alex had come over, seemingly worried for Lei as the two started talking. As she was listening to them in interest, Bliss also came over, accusing Alex of flirting. That was actually funny, as she lightly snickered at the little girl's reaction as she reached over to her, ruffling her hair as Seth put a finger over her own lips like saying "Stay quiet for now."

- Alex's offer also comes from me, Lei. If you have issues, be free to stop by and allow me to once in a while do my job, mkay? she said as she smiled

After making small talk about some of her favorite snacks and shops with Alex, she agreed to his idea of checking out the city. She spaced out a bit and didn't really pay attention to anything until she felt herself being pulled by the wrist. She looked up and noticed that Ashe had pulled her over to Soujiro. She watched as Ashe told him to end the party. She looked back and forth at the both of them, ready to jump in if needed.

Bliss sighed. It seemed she hadn't gotten the reaction she'd wanted. She walked toward the group of people, Picko flying ahead and landing on her head when they reached their destination.
She saw what had happened to Lei and gasped. "Man, they really did a number on you, didn't they?" She hadn't meant to sound so mean, but she was shocked and she instantly regretted commenting on it. Her eyebrows were raised, but Picko was looking at some real bird flying overhead, oblivious to everything.

Right as he had asked Akane what she was talking about, the SC girl from earlier came up to him out of nowhere and started demanding him to end the party immediately because 'I couldn't control my guests.' It didn't take long for Soujiro's mood to go from carefree to irritated.

So, let's get this straight: It's my fault for a bunch of idiots who start fighting over nonsense, which led you to come over here and tell me to end the party? Alright, let's take that logic and simulate it: I go up and say 'Party is over' to everyone on the roof. Now that the party would be over, do you think this fighting would stop? If you really think about it, no, it wouldn't. I don't think your problem is with me here. It's over there. He pointed out, directing the girl's attention over to the ones fighting.

Soujiro's reaction left Ashe mostly unfazed. In fact she was beginning to feel better already, since the confrontation could have gone horribly wrong if the boy chose his words carelessly. Since her expression and the tone of her voice had not changed, it was impossible to tell whether she was simply oblivious, or if she chose to ignore his irritation. "Yes, I believe you are the reason so many people have gathered here, but I don't blame you for the fighting; that's just human nature. Packing up the grill would be a good start, and since you suggested it an announcement would be lovely. I trust the Moral Committee will break up the fights, and SC's role is to prevent further ones from breaking out." She made up the plan on the spot, with some help from Soujiro, but she was quite proud of her approach. All Ashe had to do now was not say anything stupid. "Play your cards right, Yamashita, and SC might owe you a favor." Yep, not say anything stupid.

After hearing at Ash had to say, he just facepalmed and sighed at her ignorance and her unfazed composure. He quickly bordered on pissed off as he stood up and used his height to stand over Ash.

Soujiro, don't you dare... Sekai quickly warned him in his head. As soon as her voice ringed out, he felt himself calm down a little bit, but still felt like he had to tell her off.

I've told you this a dozen times, but you're just gonna get yourself in a bad place by ticking off authority. Just do what she says for now. She commanded. She didn't have any control of Soujiro's body, but what she could do was be a sort of voice that recommends the best course of action. It was up to Soujiro to decide to listen or to ignore.

Thankfully, in this situation, Soujiro chose to listen as he backed away from Ash. Alright. I'll go end the party... He said, turning to look at everything that was currently happening. But, then, he turned back to Ash and got up in her face with his red eyes glowing and an aura knife inches away from her neck. ...but I don't need any favors from the piece of trash known as the Small Cocks. Don't get in my way. He said, destroying the knife as the red in his eyes disappeared. He, then, gave a bright smile. Now, let me go stop the party for you. He finished, walking over to the grill.

When Soujiro made it over to his grill, he closed it and turned to the crowd. Alright, guys. I'd like to thank each and every one of you who came out for this BBQ, but it's time for the party to end. Thank you and have a good day. He spoke through the bullhorn before dragging everything down the stairs with him. Soon enough, he came back up with his uniform on and went back to sit by Akane.

Throughout the encounter, Ashe was so focused on maintaining eye contact (she heard it was a good way to assert oneself), that she didn't notice the knife right away, and when she finally caught a glimpse of the strange weapon that wasn't there a moment ago, she had no time to react before it dissipated, although her grip on Yumi's wrist did tighten. The expression on her face remained placid, but the boy's threatening stance managed to shake her. Soujiro left before she was able to formulate a proper thought, and by extension offer any parting words.

She abruptly let go of Yumi's wrist. "I'm sorry about dragging you along like that, and thanks." Hopefully the entire scenario didn't bother Yumi at all. Ashe really should start considering the feeling of others before acting impulsively like that, but her stubbornness prevented her from changing her ways. "Is there any way I can make amends? Please, state your demands..." Of course, Ashe would have to follow Yumi's orders anyways, so her offer was entirely redundant, and only served to make her seem more polite. Even after wronging a fellow student, Ashe seemed to care little about anything aside from her own reputation.

She sighed in relief when Soujiro calmly replied. Oh great! They handled this in a calm and mature- and I spoke too soon. She narrowed her eyes at him when he pulled the knife to Ashera's neck. She opened her mouth to say something, but as quick as he pulled the knife out, it vanished. Soujiro ended up smiling as if he didn't just act like a jerk. Yumi kept her glare on him as he walked away. Normallly, she would've brushed it off, thinking that he must've had a reason for being angry. But she felt Ashera tighten her grip on her wrist and Yumi wasn't ok with her friend feeling shaken. Using your powers to scare off a person who meant no harm is a no in my book. Time for a little revenge She kept her gaze on Soujiros shadow as he walked over to another girl. At just the right time, she lifted the shadow to grab onto his shoe for a split second, just so he could trip up a little in front of the girl.

She quickly turned her gaze back to Ashera so she wouldn't be caught. "Huh? No, don't be sorry. Sometimes a little extra support is always needed right? So if you ever need some again, you can just call me!" She smiles. "But next time you have to present a snack! My emotional support services aren't cheap. Food is what keeps me running!" She laughs.

Lei grimaced in witness of his blatant lack of appreciation for her actions. Charity did not come around often for her to give, and to have him ignore it and continue to persist with his self-loathing, it was infuriating.

"There is, as it so happens, something I do need; something within your power to grant," she said before looking around, bringing her eyes to Alex last. Taking a few small steps towards him, she pressed her palms gently on his chest and leaned up on her toes so her mouth was near his left ear.

"The main reason I played this whole cat and mouse game and luring them up here was because I was... how should I say... interested in observing you further. Now what I need from you is to stay smiling... we wouldn't want those girls to think I'm depressing you, now would we? She whispered, drawing back slightly and smiling at him before backing off back to where she had originally been standing.

"An interesting proposal Seth, one I will be sure to avail of at my earliest convenience. I'm surprised you're offering help so freely; I presumed you would be extremely busy, considering how understaffed your little committee is," she said, turning to Seth and raising one of her purple brows quizzically.

"Yeah, I guess they did, didn't they? Lei said with a dismissive laugh in response to Bliss's comment about the redness of her face from the slapping.

He was still in a state of disarray, his thoughts muddled and swirling inside his head. He tried not to let any of this show, his fists were still tightly closed, trembling slightly.
He wasn't sure how much longer he could keep his composure until he heard Lei's voice drawing closer to him. This snapped him back to attention, before he knew it Lei was right on top of him. Leaning up towards him he could feel the frailty of her body against his and the sharp, shallow breaths of hers, taking a beatin like that would not have been easy for someone with such a weak body. It was no wonder she was still out of breath.
Hearing her voice in his ear calmed him slightly, but it was the words she spoke which calmed him most. All he had to do to help her was to keep up his facade of being a cheery and flirty guy. Something he could manage on his own. Alex almost wanted to wrap his arms behind her to keep her close to him for a moment longer, but decided against it. By the time Lei had stepped back to her original position Alex's mood had lifted significantly, his body language was more positive, and his voice confident. Flicking his hair out of his eyes once more he looked back at Lei and gave her his trademark smile before taking some pocky and chomping on it. All signs that he was back to being his cheery self.
"Really? That's all you want from me? Pshhh, Easy!"
He replied, giving her another sweet smile and scanning with his eyes to make sure those girls had really rid themselves of the scene before lifting his hands behind his head and stretched his body a little before retuning to his regular posture.
He had a small blush on his face still from being in close proximity with Lei, and remembering the gesture she gave with her cane back at the field. Was that really a possibility? Well, right now Alex could only dream of such things.
Petting Bliss and Picko on the head he offered her some pocky and gave bliss a sweet smile, then almost forgetting. He held out the box to Lei and asked her casually, if she would like a stick of Pocky.

There still seemed to be some fuss, but the roof was void of fighting which was a nice improvement. Subconsciously, Ashe raised a hand to her neck, still trying to put the potential threat out of her mind with little success. It was unusual that she felt conflicted about the nature of the threat. Actually feeling conflicted was mundane for the girl who had no right to be alive and standing in the first place. Maybe that's why Ashe wasn't afraid of having her arteries severed with a dagger, however she would be forced to defend herself anyways. She was only shaken because she nearly violated her dogma. In any case, a knife prick doesn't even compare to the dreadful pain Ashe had put herself through already. Just the thought alone made her armored arm sting dreadfully.

Yumi's voice broke her train of thought. "Of course. I'll make sure to reward you duly for your help." Ashe noted that the girl was a fan of pocky and decided to pick up the next pack she saw, just to have it ready. "What are you plans for now? I don't suspect the roof will clear out all too soon... Ashe forced herself to smile, however it wasn't especially convincing.

Lei grinned sheepishly at his blushing; usually that was the female's job. She took a pocky as it was offered, thanking him with gestures rather than words by nodding her head slightly.

"Well how about that... and here I thought such a suave individual like yourself would have a better hold of himself. It is most interesting, before this conversation the only redness I brought to another's face was one of anger... this is better, cute even; I sort of like it," she teased, tapping her chin in rhythm as though she were planning her next move which, as it so happens, she was.

"Hey, do you want to get out of here? There's somewhere I would like to go and your presence would be much appreciated. If anything consider this an opportunity to clear your karmic debts, if you're so hell bent of persisting that this situation was your fault," she said, losing, if only for an instant, that manipulative edge that has pushed others away her entire life. Instead of being cruel, sadistic, or insidious, she was actually acting like a normal girl; which was in ways as bizarre as her normal demeanour.

Lei's grin was something he appreciated. It made his smile more genuine than the one he was giving to all the people around him at the moment. For this, he was thankful to Lei. Finishing the pocky in his mouth he pocketed the pack and looked around the roof. He spotted Yumi and Ashe, he apologised in his mind for his rude exit just a moment ago, he still needed to honour Yumi's request to go out of school grounds to the mall to buy more sweets. He had a feeling that they would get along.
The mood around the place had lifted, Lei was looking more relaxed, the redness fading slightly from her cheek and the bleeding stopped, he remembered the handkerchief in his breast pocket, he would need to throw that out sooner or later.
Looking back at Lei's grinning face she made proposition to Alex. She needed his help for some reason, for what he was unsure, but he was glad she accepted the pocky and now his help.
"Sure, where are we heading?"
He asked her nonchalantly, stepping forward then standing by her side, ready for her to take the lead. As he did so, he pet Bliss' head once more to ensure her that he was alright. He flicked the hair form him eyes once more and pocketed his hands, ready for Lei's next set of orders.

It was fortunate that Ashe would be able to assist Yumi so quickly after owing her a favour. Although, it's not like helping her once, twice, or even twenty times would be enough to wipe her debt. Ashe looked over the railing of the roof towards the field not too far in the distance. She didn't know the lay of the land well at all, but most of the campus was visible from this height. "Exit the building and turn left. It's straight ahead from there." She recited the directions listlessly without commenting on her own availability. In her mind, there was no reason to say anything in most scenarios, and Ashe never understood why people always talked so much anyways. Hanamiri saw events pass and saw how her brother handled it which in her opinion, he handled it too well. Also something the the bossy girl said about "if he moved around correctly, he might get something good out of it" bothered her and she could see how that could backfire. Burying her distrust she walked towards the girl and looked to see if she was busy.

The girl who she was around for what seemed like forever had left so she was free to have a one on one conversation. It was much more preferable.

Excuse me...You just told that boy something about oweing him favor if he did something right?... Well you should becareful when you say things like that...especially to people like him. He might take advantage of the fact you said that later...

Hanakiri spoke in a emotionless tone that also coincided with her emotionless face. She was satisfied on the inside however. She was satisfied that she had finally gave the warning to the girl. It was truely out of the goodness of her heart that this was done. Of course now that she initiated conversation she could not walk away and just be done with it. She would have to continue to communicate until they the conversation reached its end.
