Kuja Feeling the wind picking up, Kuja could feel himself gaining speed from his ability. Not going all out but definitely not holding too much back, he would keep on pushing holding his lead of a few meters if at all possible, having ran through most of the 3rd lap he looked behind to see them still pushing to catch up. He nodded once still with the same serious expression on his face, he turned back around and started sprinting for the last leg of the match. He hadn't meant to go quite as fast as he was, but the wind that had suddenly picked up was pushing him to go faster as his feet pounded along the track. Confident in being able to keep his lead. |

| Kuja Turning to face Mika and Devina who'd caught up to him he didn't say a word, just looked at them with a serious expression on his face before facing forward again pushing harder. The wind rushing through his hair and clothes almost seeming to embrace him as he ran. Going faster than he'd intended to since the wind was pushing his ability to higher heights than he though he would during this match. He was confident in winning, but he wasn't going to run all out. But he definitely wasn't holding it all in either or he wouldn't win. He expected to win with about 5 meters ahead of the second place, at the speed he was going. |
| Mika "yea", let's give it our all you guys and see who wins" the wind kept pushing her with more force making her go really fast "but I won't easily be beaten" |

| Devina Interesting..... She thought watching them take off before she began herself. I wonder. She thought some more as she sprinted down the last stretch, not really paying attention to her surroundings for the last bit of the lap |
| Kuja Finishing up the run not too far ahead of Mika, only a few meters. Less than he'd expected but it would do, he hadn't been running full speed anyway. As he finished up the lap he took two steps unto thin air jumping up high and just hanging in the air for a moment letting the wind blow around him. He landed back on the ground turning back as the others had finished up, except for his fellow male student, not really going all that fast. But it looked like he'd be done soon as well. Still with his serious expression on his face, even if he didn't realize it he didn't quite look like the happy-go-lucky kid from just before, but it didn't last long before it melted away and his smile came back. "That was a good run guys!" |
| Devina Devina sprinting didn't slow down running through the finish and ending several meters past. "That was a really good run"She said as she breathed in and stretched a bit as she walked to the finish line. "It felt good running." She said smiling. she looked over at Kuja for a second. "By any chance your power is related to the wind?" she asked |
| Mika she could already see the finish line. now was the time to go big or go home. she used some powerful winds to move her faster as she ran towards that finish line ... all she had in mind was "I have to pass kijo" but I'm the end she couldn't pass him. she was still glad that she made it in second though. she pants a little from all that running and turns around to see if the others where there or close. she saw Devina but setsuno was still running the race |

| Setsuno Having clearly been left behind, he knew it wasn't much use to keep running. He had slowed down to a small jog then a just a fast paced walk, as he just took in the scenery of the rest of the field. When he saw the other finish the race, he ran the space between them and arrived to where they were at. "Well then, you three are too quick for me haha. Quite a sight though seeing how close you three were at the end." |

| Kuja Turning to look at Devina, he nodded in the affirmative. "Yeah, the windier it gets the better for me you could say." As he said this he smiled wistfully looking almost lost in thought for a moment before snapping back to reality. "I'm glad you like running too, so did I get a price for winning or what was the condition?" He said smiling at Devina and Mika "Setsuno-san isn't quite the runner it seems" He said offhandedly. As Setsuno came up to them he gave him a pat on the shoulder before addressing his remark. "Yeah, I wasn't expecting as much competition in the end, even if I didn't run all out." He smiled. |
| Mika "haha, in the end us three turned out to be wind users. I've never had so much fun racing someone before" she giggles a bit and smiled "we should try to get to know each other now though, since we are all officially friends!" he looks at kujo "yeah, say what you want since u won" ^.^ |

| Devina "Hmm... I guess it's the same for me but I definitely don't get the speed that you do, at least in running that is. As for a prize I didn't realize there was one." She said looking at them. "Is that what you were talking about at the start?" She asked remembering that they were talking about something. |
| Kuja Kuja smiled cheekily as he pointed at the 3 of them. "It's kinda two part, but you've pretty much agreed to one of them, I want friends! And running partners!" He said this with a huge grin on his face. "Yeah Devina-san, I hope you don't mind me and Mika-san talking about a prize and stuff like that.." He said losing some of his previous flair due to nervousness. |
| Mika "hehe, well what's the second thing you want then, kuja kun?" she asked as she tilted her head |

| Kuja Looking kinda shy, did I stutter?"Uhm, just that friends and running partners." He said shyly. As soon as he'd said what he wanted his stomach let out a huge growl. "Uhm... And maybe a bite or two of that sandwich you had before?" He said no longer looking shy, instead with a sheepish expression on his face. "Oh and last thing, maybe help me find my dorm?" He said to finish off |
| Devina "They seem like simple request, but I can't help you much on the last one. I don't know the place too well yet to tell you where things are." She shrugged. "Guess I'll have to start memorizing where everything is." |
| Setsuno "I guess I still have a purpose as a guide till someone else memorizes the place." Setsuno laughed a bit. "Leave finding any place up to me. I got the whole place locked into memory." |

| Kuja "That's alright, was kinda wishful thinking on that last one" He responded to her statement. "I'll find it sooner or later I suppose" He shrugged before continuing "So you're all about wind too huh, how does it work for you? It doesn't seem like our wind is quite the same." He said looking interested at their 'winds' being different. But before he could get an answer Setsuno came in like a saving angel "Oooh Setsuno-san you know the place? That means you can help me out?" He said happily. |
| Mika she chuckles a bit as she thought that the fends and running partners fell under one request "hehe, well I only really have a small piece left but you can have it" she reached into her small purse and pulled out the piece of grilled chicken sandwich that was wrapped in paper. maybe you should also get something else to eat" ^.^ she hands kuja the sandwich |

| Devina Not getting an answer out before Kuja moved to his next questions, Devina figured he'd ask more about it later. "Setsuno, you had the advantage of that map though, so I hope you know where things are." |
| Setsuno He points at his head and smiles at Devina at the same time. "Yes, don't worry about it. Hyperthymesia. Perfect autobiographical memory. The image of that map won't escape my head anytime soon... Well at all really. So I'll always be around in case you get lost." He then thinks a bit and says something else. "Though if you need a map just to keep on you, I can always give you one." |

| Kuja Gratefully accepting the sandwich before he started to devour it "Thank you so much Mika-san!" He said in between bites having completely forgotten his manners over this much needed meal. Addressing Devina by nudging her gently he asked "Could you tell me about your wind later? I still really wanna know, but finding my dorm might take priority." Smiling while still munching on the sandwich he'd procured from Mika. "Mhmm, if it's okay Setsuno-san I'm just gonna be using you as a walking map for a little bit." He said with a crooked grin |
| Mika "no problem" she smiles "so are we heading to the dorms then?" |

| Devina "Yea, knowing where you'll be living during the school year would probably be a more useful thing to know." She said giggling a bit watching him. "Just let me know and I'll show you it." |
| Kuja "So how is this school? All I've heard is that it's pretty high tier and has some great clubs. This might not come as a surprise but I wanna join the Stride team, do you know anything about them?" He said while finishing off the sandwich with a happy sigh. He'd look out of the corner of his eye at Setsuno, since he seemed to be the guy that knew what was going on. |
| Setsuno "Hmm.. To be honest, your guess is as good as mine, but what you say is generally on point from what I investigated before coming here." He thought of a few things. "In general though, I think all sorts of students have shown up here. What intrigues me though is that higher end group running the show, in the student council." A sly grin appeared on his face for a minute. "As for the club you joined I'm not sure, since I am in fencing and haven't met anyone else who is in that club." |

| Mika "oh right! what do you know about missions setsuno? I heard that by doing them you grow stronger and level up in rank. know how exactly that works?" |

| Kuja "Ahh, alright was hoping you'd know map-san" He said teasingly, his more childish/prankster personality shining through. "We'll have to spar sometime, you're most likely more of a swordsman than me, but I get by with these bad boys." Kuja said as he pointed at his upper back where his two daggers fastened crossing over each other. Looking at Devina and Mika he addressed them with a laugh before speaking "Well Mika-san, I'd go to my dorm if I knew what one I was supposed to be in." He chuckled. Turning to Devina he smiled "So uhm Devina-san, do you have a good idea what to do from here on?" He turned to her since she'd been the first to talk to him since he came to the school. Hearing Mika ask about missions he paused and listened in as well. |
| Devina "Well if you aren't headed to the dorms yet. I can show you what my wind does really quick, I'm not sure if anyone else has something else in mind that they might want to do though." She said looking at the others for a moment. "I'm also not sure what there is around here so I'd probably have to find that out first." |
| Kuja Nodding at hearing Devina speak up about her wind, got Kuja interested very quickly. "Yes please, if you want to. You've pretty much seen what I do with my wind." Looking at Devina he smiled and stepped back to let her demonstrate |
| Devina "Mind if I see your daggers?" she asked "I'd use mine but they're back in the dorms." She smiled as she waited for his reply. "It works better with them." |
| Kuja Pulling out his daggers, he brandished them with a flourish. "Please be careful with them, they're very important to me Devina." This would be the first time Kuja called her without any honorific, thus showing how serious he was about this. Flipping them around catching by the blade and presenting the handles to her, he gingerly waited for her to take hold of the handles. |
| Mika She just observe them, she was also quit interested on seeing devinas powers |

| Setsuno "Well then... I still have stuff I need to find out for myself ... But for the most part missions can be accepted once you've applied for them at the missions center. Somewhere on campus. Hmm... Completing a mission helps you gain points to then rank up and also lets you practice your powers, but failing draws you back and will effect your rank." He then smiles at Kuja. "I'd take that dueling offer at anytime you're ready." Setsuno pats the silver rapier hanging by his side. "My blade is always ready for anything." Setsuno then focused on Devina to see her powers in action as well. "By the way, you have nice daggers there Kuja " |

| Devina "I'll be careful, If they are as important as mine are to me then they are in good hands." she said taking a firm hold on the handles of them. Feeling the decent weight of them and sense the differences from hers she adjusted her grip on them. She felt a sensed a slight breeze coming in and looked around for something usable as a target. spotting a near by tree she decided that it would do. She just had to make sure not to cut through it. "Ready?" |
| Kuja Looking towards Setsuno as he spoke Kuja just gave him a swift nod and an affirmative. Being too busy keeping an eye on his daggers and Devina getting ready to show her wind. "Ready, lets see what you've got Devina-san." He said looking in anticipation of what he was about to see, he was expecting something with manipulation since she'd asked for his blades, more than likely something with cutting, but what kind he was unsure. |
| Mika "oi, but you will duel me first, setsuno kun, sinceyou did promise back when we were in the dorm" she looks down a bit "although, Kuja is probably a way more worthy opponent then me" |

| Kuja Not paying much mind to what Mika said, Kuja just heard his name called and reacted by glancing at her, but didn't quite catch what she said. Not thinking anything special was said, he turned his attention back to Devina and his daggers. |
| Devina Devina took a deep breath in and closed her eyes for a second. Using the wind that came in, it swirled around her feet levitating her up slightly. The blade began to faintly glow in her hands. Opening her eyes back up, she propel forward and encircled the tree she had spotted out earlier without stepping foot on ground, slashing away at it's bark by sending slashed of air to cut into it. The wind itself had a faint silver glow to it as she slashed with agility. When she finished slashing she created a small vortex of air to blow away the wood chips leaving the trunk of the tree carved into like a sculpture. "What do you think?" She asked now standing by the tree |
| Kuja Staring at Devina dance with his daggers in hand, he was almost mesmerized by the grace she was showing in the display. It wasn't quite what Kuja was expecting, but it did look effective. "That's VERY interesting, quite impressive even, it's not quite the style I use for fighting, but it does look to work quite well." Looking at his daggers he stepped forward "Uhm, if you don't mind could I have my daggers back?" He asked not with any hostility, closer to a need. Saying this he extended his hands. |
| Setsuno "Beautiful..." He said in a low whisper as he quietly placed his eye patch over his eye once again,he had quickly observed Devina's movements as well as the frequency emitted by the daggers as she wielded them. He did all this without anyone else noticing. The frequency he saw was quite unique, alongside Devina's grace in her movements. |

| Devina "Yea, Of course." She said handing them over to him. "And thanks. I kinda figured the way I would use it is a bit different. Then the fact that I used it for some more art work." She said smiling. |
| Kuja Taking his blades back, he threw each of them in the air expertly catching them in the sheaths on his back. "Yeah it's not quite the way I use them, but it was very beautiful." Looking a little sheepish looking at Devina again "I'm guessing you saw what I can do, but if you're interested I can display it again if you'd like?" He offered with a cocked head. |
| Devina "I think I got to see the general view of it but I don't think I got to see it to its full extent. So if you want to go for it. I don't think we had any other plans." She replied as she walked back over to where the group was. "Is there anything else it does?" she asked pulling her hair back into a ponytail |
| Kuja Nodding once to the statement. "Well, you pretty much saw 'what it does' but not quite the extend of which I use it." Brandishing his knifes again to prepare showing what he can, he quickly does a light stretch. Looking towards the tree next to the one Devina had just used to sculpt, Kuja got down in a low crouch. "Can't quite go full speed without a stronger wind, but I'll see if I can go fast enough for it to actually be noteworthy." Having said that Kuja took off at a full blow sprint. Going faster than he'd done during the race, seemingly 30% faster than during the race. As soon as Kuja gets close to the tree, he leaps into the air taking 2 steps as if it was solid ground. As he descended towards the tree he dug his knives into the tree carving around in a spiral pattern down the tree. Before picking up speed as he slashes the blades at breakneck speed, making a sculpture like Devina did, although it looks more akin to a wobbly flowerpot than anything truly artistic. "Uhm... I'm not very artsy? But I hope this shows off what I do with my 'talents'" |
| Setsuno Again he had done his quick observation. "Interesting..." He murmured. The frequency was a lot different from what he saw when Devina held the daggers. A completely different sight, but none the less interesting as well. |

| (I'll say it here just real quick since I didn't mention it in the post, the way he's moving is more vicious than it's gracious the movements are that of an acrobat, but they're very brutal in application of this strikes. You'd be able to see it as he moves, so I hope this is fine if not I'll write it into my previous post) |
| Devina "There's a definite difference between the way we do things. But it seems to get the job done. As for being artist I've been doing art since before I could talk, probably why joined the Art club here." |
| Kuja "Yeaah, not denying you're more artsy than I'll ever be, at least I'm good at what I like." He said with a smile and a shrug of his shoulders. "It's not really pretty when I fight, but yeah it does get the job done." He murmured as he though about it. |
| Yumi After following the directions Ashera gave her, Yumi found herself at the Outer field. She looked around and noticed other people there, so she decided to walk to the opposite side of where they were. She didn't want to interrupt their training. She sat down on the floor and looked towards the group of people. Hmm... I wonder if they would mind me borrowing their shadows. After thinking about it for a couple of minutes she smiled. "Well it's not like their gonna miss their shadows." And with that said, she pulled over the guy with the eyepatch's shadow towards herself. She looked back over to the other two people and squinted her eyes, trying to get another shadow. She was trying her best to concentrate, but to others, it looked like she was glaring at them. The shadow would get pulled a little, but end up slipping back into their places. "Tch. Come on." She continued her attempts of pulling another shadow. |
