True, I know someone who thinks he's absolutely sexy in Edward Scissorhands. It is still a great movie though.

there are few johnny depp movies (of the ones I've seen, which is... many of them) where I would say he's not sexy in them. At all. For different reasons.

In Edward Scissorhands I don't think he's sexy because... hm, well, I guess I just feel so sorry for Edward everytime I watch this movie and just want to hug him like a little child D:
He's not sexy in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas as well for many reasons. But he's very funny there 8D
And then there are movies like The Secret Window where he's just WOW.

But well most of all he's a great actor. The sexyness is just a bonus I guess :3

I bet he has that same sort of appeal in Pirates of the Carribean. People seem to like him in that. I was a little disappointed with the Secret Window, I thought it could have been executed better, but it's been a while since I've seen it.

I really liked the way he acted in Secret Window, for some reason he gave me chills even before the end.

Pirates of the Caribbean... yeah he is quite, uh, attractive in that (but really, next to orlando boring bloom a can of warm coke is sexy). I like him best with "normal" clothing, glasses on and his hair all over the place. kinda pseudo-nerdy :D

Why didn't you like PotC by the way?

I don't know why I didn't like it, probably because I'm not really big on the genre, or maybe the story didn't appeal to me.

Went to a band's reunion tour concert, last saw them play together several years ago. And it was kind of clear from the sound of them that they hadn't been playing as a group in years.

for what they charge to see shows nowadays it's sad. they make people throw out their waters right before the gate, thousands of unopened waters thrown in trash bins and as soon as they get past the gate, there are people selling water for EUR 4,60

yeah it's stupid :/ I once went to a soccer game of our local club with friends and right before going in a friend of mine said "and here they go again, having people throw their bottles away for security reasons"
2 minutes later we were in.
3 minutes later I was bathed in 0,5l beer, sold right behind the entrance, thrown by some nuthead.
actually, it was a good thing I didn't have a bottle right then lol

oh and thumbs up for using EUR lol

We've been too lazy to put in the air conditioners this year, so it's been particularly hot in the house as well, especially so upstairs (with that heat rises BS). I've taken to sleeping on the couch, where it's cooler, to an extent.

I know that problem :/ one wall in my room is nearly nothing but glass which is kinda nice sometimes but in the summer my room is like a burning death trap.

(I'm feeling obliged to add this now:

)

but at least you got an air conditioner D:

Went to go see some family far off this weekend. No AC at all there, it got very hot trying to sleep at night. We have an area fan, but no ACs in the rooms right now, I might put it in, but the season should cool down. Had an exhausting couple of days.

But surely you had fun too, didn't you :P
Visiting family is always exhausting I think, which is why I always try not to do it. Only "far" family member I see regularly is one of my uncles and these visits are always rather... predictable.
If it's just me visiting him and his wife the conversation is pleasent enough but as soon as there are other people there as well like my mother, sister or cousins it turns into a very painful day for me with questions like

"So... how's your boyfriend?"
"... I don't have a boyfriend."
"Oh, right. Girlfriend?"
"... No. And if I had anything it would be a boyfriend, you know."
"Sure. Say, I don't know if I aleady asked you this but do you ever get stuck with your piercing? Like, with a fork?"
"You've been asking since I was 19 and no, my fork-piercing-coordination is still good."
"I love you, you know."
"... I know."
Then, at some point, someone suggests playing a board game which always ends up being a mess because, frankly, my uncle and my mother are from a family full of cheaters and sore losers. They can even turn Candyland into a war zone lol

family. gotta love them D:

Mukya! That can be so uncomfortable though, especially when they're dragging up all those things I'm not particularly wanting to think about atm :-0

Did you have a new girlfriend yet?
No, not yet. (Thanks for asking...:-/)

I <3 Candyland though.

I was tempted to say something like "You know, I'm playing the field at the moment. I figured I'm young so why just go out with one person if there are so many. So I'm having like 3 "good friends" instead of one "boyfriend"."
But I knoy my uncle. He would a) believe me and b) I wouldn't hear the end of it until I'd see "the error of my ways". I'd hate myself for that joke in the end. XD

Really... what is it with older people or people in relationships always asking others about their love lives? I'd never do that and if I ever do I hope the person I'm asking shoots me.
Or how about family members always dragging up embarrassing stories from one's childhood.... and feeling the need to back these stories up with old pictures because just talking about it isn't painful enough... Maybe it's just something they have to do. Part of the job kinda thing.

You wouldn't love candyland with my mum and my uncle, believe me, it gets bizarre lol

Just trying to imagine how bizarre Candyland can get makes me want to play it. Monopoly is one of those games that probably gets families at each others necks. How about Chutes and Ladders now?

have never played chutes and ladders o.o

and it's been several years since I played monopoly.

For some reason trivial pursuit seems to be one of the games with the highest ... well, danger of ending in a fight. lol
I like it though. And Taboo is awesome too, I could play that for hours on end :D

Haha Simpsons Cluedo. Everytime I play, I always get off track and make up people and weapons. It's quite entertaining to be honest.

Anyway I was going for a drink from my favourite homemade soda (well essentially it's coke and sprite, rasberry or fanta mixed in) and *shock horror gasp* there was not one, but TWO flies in my cup. Sometimes I think this world is just cruel.

that sounds like an interesting mix o.o how does it taste?... ah well I guess I'll have to try it out. I'm really missing Lemon, Lime and Bitters. I used to drink it all the time in Australia because it tastes so awesome. But now that I'm back home I can't have it..... having a really hard time finding the right Bitters here. But I'm working on it>_<

And yes, life is cruel. I once had a bee in my drink.... I'm very thankful I saw that BEFORE drinking XD

Not so lucky for me. I drank, I closed my mouth JUST in time but it got stuck..."in between".

And yes it does taste weird at first but you get used to it. Great for a hot day.

If you HAD drunk that bee, it might have stung your tongue.

Have you ever noticed something I call "Alzheimer's summer syndrome" Like when you go somewhere for a month and when you get back your best friend doesn't know you? I was sent to my grandparents farm for a month and then when I came back most of my friends don't say hi to me. I called my friend and she just said she doesn't know me. So I think I should feel offended but maybe it's just me XD Maybe she's just mad at me but I think it's impossible because I even bough her present for her birthdays and send it to her It would be Ok but people I know well don't say hi when we meet and i think it's bizarre XD that's my funny story
Ultimately, there is a freedom to take the consequences (Terry Pratchett)

Don't worry, it's not only you. I was in Australia for half a year and even though I had contact with my closest friends via the internet during that time, when I came back it was like I constantly had to remind 2 people of who I am and that I'm back so they could easily, you know... call me... or something. XD

Well, there are 2 possibilities really... she either is very forgetful or she is mad. Maybe you should just ask her XD
