I approve :) The only thing left is to change background-color: transparent; to background-color: #000000; in your code and you should be all set. This makes your list look a lot better at high resolutions, since it makes the background color outside of the wallpaper black instead of white. |

Never wondered where I steal copy getting inspired for my list designs? :P that white line is just a product of changing that what my list is showing, it'll be gone with the next update. Thanks for pointing out though. tried that fading thing but in the PSD this looked nicer. When the topbar is done with the css it will make the picture more complete but I'm too lazy to hax the topbar again. | LOL I know it is better know so I could figure out now which category I am looking. Well I must say that the background did help you alot in this design. It conveys a lot of deep feeling into the design. I dare say this is the most suitable pic for your design. |

Well, as you say the white and bright-ish purple don't really fit in. What I suggest is, if you are in posession of photoshop (or another editing program), to make that same background en put some colors on it so see which colors go well with that background color and which don't. :] You also might wanna "lower" the color of the a:Hover -links ^___~ But is's a very nice start...keep it up :3 - Lith. |

These are my firsts when it comes to using advanced CSS. I had plain ones with just custom colors before. Intended to be viewed at 1920x1200 or 1920x1080, but they should look fine with smaller resolutions too (all the way down to 1024x###). I've also tested them with various browsers. One thing I'm interested in is whether the header titles in my animelist are clear enough to someone who hasn't seen Haibane Renmei. Secondly, is the font used in the mangalist's subheaders legible enough? Any other feedback is welcome too.   PS. I took some pointers from Mathes's list since it said "feel free to steal or copy whatever you want". Props to him. PPS. @ Talon: That has to be one of the most creative and unique works I've ever seen. Marvelous job! E: Updated the mangalist's preview picture. |

List one looks very nice (too bad I've got a 1280 x 1024 resolution though) The headers looks very....loose but it fits :] List two looks very nice as well, I love the font, but the subtext underneath 'completed', 'dropped' etc. is a bit unclear. | @Lithia, Siva, viesiu: Thanks for your feedback! I tried to make the subheaders easier to read by adding as much spacing as I could without sacrificing/changing the font or splitting the longest one to two rows. In addition I enchanced the wallpaper a bit, and changed the picture on the right to a totally different but a higher resolution one. I updated my previous post with the new preview picture. Siva said: Each time I see Beatrice it makes me want to see the anime even more >_< I know the feeling. I've already read all of the four published visual novels and I'm desperately craving for more. :( |

| Thanks! I must confess I didn't use the search fonction as it seems it's always down D: I should have tryed it, sorry. EDIT : So, I played around with the infos given by the tutorials and when I started to understand better how it worked, I began to make one for myself. Was time consuming to finish it (: It was first time using CSS so I guess I couldn't have done more basic stuffs. But still it was fun to learn (big thanks to some lists codes too, made me understand better how it worked together by observing your guys lists) and experiment. Anyone kind enough to give me his opinon/advices/tips on what I did bad/good/I should change? (Oh yeah, and I didn't quite understand yet what was ".form", can someone explain?) |
