Few new series...
Magic Knight Rayearth - I started to like this old type of character design :) I mean they are great now... but if you look at this: huge eyes, weird hairdo not to mention their colors... I like it. Plus nice story and good to see CLAMP before they went into Spider People realm with their design ;)

A-channel - I now started to understand why it's a nice series. It has some similarities to Azumanga - I mean it's another series that just shows school without going into some cultural references or using art.

and nicest discovery
Maria-sama ga Miteru - and I have no idea why I like it so much :) but it's climate, characters and also art style... they are really great. I would call it either unrealistic SoL. But it's amazing.

I haven't been into watching anime like I used to. Now that I have so much time on my hands I find myself doing things I never could get to. I did recently get huluplus on my wii though. Pleasantly surprised that I can catch up some of my currently airing series there. So, I'm watching Guilty Crown, Nisemonogatari, Bleach, & Mirai Nikki right now. During my 2wk trial of huluplus I previewed about 20 series and picked up D. Gray Man, Our Home's Fox Deity, Kekkaishi, Virus Buster, & Mythical Detective Loki. I've only been really interested in the first 2 lately though. I decided to keep huluplus & will be previewing about 15 more. sometimes I will go through a lot of series until I find one that fits my mood. Too bad they don't have Ergo Proxy... bc I was really wanting to watch that on something besides my comp. (& no I can't hook my desktop or laptop up to the tv for various reasons)

Anyway ---
@Dalek-baka - I previewed Magic Knight Rayearth recently & I liked it too. Unfortunately it was in dubbed version & the voices were really annoying to me. I'll have to watch it subbed sometime.

@Hypercardiac - Are you enjoying Madoka Magica? It gets really good about halfway through if I remember right.

I think there was Reyearth at bakabt. And it has decent subs.

Soooo... new round
appart from continuing Maria-sama and A-Channel

Kaleido Star - this show is crazy amazing :) ok typical Junichi Sato stuff - warm and fuzzy, but with bits of drama here and there. Great leading character :)

Tatami Galaxy... it's nice I can say. My impression from it is mix of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei with Groundhog Day. Last time I dropped it because of art, but I got accustomed to it's weirdness and I can say it's decent show (ok Johnny was irritating as hell :P)

and going for Galaxy Express 999 or Galaxy Railways - I have to choose one of those. So more retro (or retro looking stuff) to come :)

Galaxy Express 999 is one of my all time favorite series. I thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed every episode. I haven't seen Galaxy Railways, & although shorter it is supposed to be good, set in an overlapping universe (but not conflicted on separate watches), but not as loved as the other series. I just started Captain Harlock, which I has tried before & didn't get into, but that I am loving now. It is much more dated looking though. The creator of those series Matsumoto-sama is like my favorite person ever lol. I luv his art & stories. You may recognize my avatar as a recurring character design of his. But it is from his first manga.

I've been watching Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori.

Also I was curious to see if fans of this series have made a Jigoku Tsushin web page. I searched on google for some and found these links:
http://www.jigokutsushin.co.nr/
http://jigokutsushin.de/

First one looks like the one from the show, but seems you can access it at any time. The second one, I tried to access it but gives a page not found error. Maybe it's more authentic and is available at midnight. Judging from the domain the server is in Germany, so I'll try to access it when it's midnight in Germany.

FLCL aka Furi Kuri & Yuri Yuri

Furi Kuri is a very wacky and fastpaced show and in the right mood may become your favorite. It's about coming of age and all the crazy stuff happening when you grow up.It's really hilarious!!

Yuri Yuri - really funny show, it parodies much stuff and makes jokes like Daily Lives of Highschool Boys.Just watch it if you wanna see some randomness (and Daily Lives of High School Boys too lol it's much much funnier XDDD)

Yeah, started a bunch of anime too, some of them are seasonal and I'm almost done watching them. Among the older ones: Beelzebub (a bit boring, but there are some great episodes too), Darker than Black (I expected something better, but only watched the first 3 episodes so I'm hopping that it will improve), Hell Girl Season 3, Lovely Complex (very funny). Finished this weekend Initial D season 4 (great series, going to read the manga too) and Fist of the North Star.

Another rewatch of Gurren Lagann of Magical Girls: Heartcatch Precure and yes, it's still as epic as it was :)
plus it's nice addition to Smile Precure and Yes! Precure 5.

Than from older series: Eureka Seven and Last Exile 2 (Fam is weird but there are airships shooting at each other so it passes), Kobato and The iDOLM@STER

I'm thinking about Seitokai no Ichizon but I heard it's harem and it's not kind i enjoy most :/

Ghost Hound --- & I love it! It's very psychological & raises many points about metaphysics. That said if you don't like stories that make you think then steer clear. But, if you like psychological horror it's a must to check this out. Some parts were a little scary, but mostly I'm loving the story and weirdness of it. Not a cookie-cutter anime.

Futari wa Precure: Splash Star
Yes! Precure 5
Fresh Precure

so I watch mainly those, plus few series from this season.
Plus playing (as I forced my good old Mac to cooperate): Katawa Shoujo - and this game may turn into one of best or most awfull I played so far, so far it heads towards first option

Should stay as one of the best ;) Played Hanako's route yet? It's my favourite!

Not to OT, I'm watching Noein. The art style really bugs me.

Somehow I was never able to go pass first 3 episodes of Noein - it looks both strange and very pretty.
But on the same time I was watching Dennou Coil so maybe that's why. Still after Precure feast it's on my list (with Cardcaptor Sakura :D

Heh - yes, her route. I wanted to go Emi's first but somehow ended here

Ghost Hound's art could have been a bit better, but it was worth it to me.

I'm finishing up American Horror Story season 2. I liked the 1st season much better. Second half of 1st season strayed from the beginning concepts a little, although it still felt like the same show. The second season though seems like it was written by a different person. IDK. maybe it was.

I've only seen 2 eps, but I like it. It's a spin-off of one of the arcs in Ayakashi: Japanese Classic Horror. I waited a long ass time after watching Ayakashi because it was my least favorite arc. It's still good though. These first 2 eps are kinda wtf at the end, but I don't mind the ambiguity. If you do watch it soon, let me know what you thought about them.

Cromartie High film was a bit disappointing btw.
