I don't have a concrete source saying this but I'm pretty sure Shigofumi Picture Drama has 7 episodes, 1 per DVD released (6 + 1 OVA). I already submitted airing dates but forgot about the seventh episode so the end date should be September 26 2008 and not August 22. Starting date March 25.

Eternal Family was aired as 53 episodes, at 30 seconds per episode. (Which I've already put in for change.)

But when it was released onto DVD, all the episodes were combined to make a "movie" of sorts. So I'm not sure which information set would be better. "TV, 53, 30 sec." or "Movie, 1, 28 min." - Whichever the moderators feel would work best.

Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch R2 Specials has 9 episodes.

Kanokon DVD Specials has 12 episodes.

I was also wondering, how come some of the currently airing TV series don't have total number of episodes and some do? Is it because some producers don't announce the numbers and others do or because nobody has submitted the correct number yet? Maybe a combination of both?

The length of Detroit Metal City should be changed from 24 to 12 episodes. Also DMC should be added as an alternative title since it's a common abbreviation for it and is even used on the manga's page.

Is Dead Space: Downfall an anime based on MAL's definition of one?

I haven't found a lot of information about it but this trailer looks very anime-ish. Then again, Full cast and crew for Dead Space: Downfall (IMDB.com) tells another story.

If it is an anime then please change the duration to 74 minutes.

If you click on the "more info" tab, it says "Japanese staff and companies also worked on this series even if it originally aired in the USA." In my opinion this does not make it an anime, but i also feel that by the same note Afro Samurai should not be considered anime. This is, however, for the mods and admins to decide. Beware of slippery slopes.

Minami-ke Third season's title has been confirmed "Minami-ke Okaeri" (みなみけおかえり)
I think following the japanese title, there should be no tildes (~) around Okaeri, in contrast to the 2nd season which was みなみけ~おかわり~.
