| Yeah, he said not some words, but THE words: "It's not that you may be Kira, but you are Kira." Hell, i'll write those in italian dub too: "TU NON POTRESTI ESSERE KIRA, TU SEI KIRA." jesus christ, L WANTS Light Yagami to be Kira at all costs, almost at a point that he would quit the operation altogether and leave Japan if it turns out 100% sure that Light isn't Kira. He wants to put Light in a prison cell just for the pleasure of it. (Poor Ryuk, again in withdrawal syndrome) "I'm afraid I can't do that" No, it's that you don't want. Funny how earlier L declined Light's offer to be confined and now he's all too ready to trample on anyone's human rights. Particularly the way Misa has been confined and treated under mere suspicion is certainly illegal. yeah, he's a great opponent for Light / Kira, but he's not the "good guy" either. "I'm... a pervert?" yeah, you are. No idea of what's going on? This is just a rewatch for the third or fourth time but it's nice to remember how those cliffhangers made the series so interesting 15 years ago during the first italian television airing and waiting for one more week seemed so long. |

| From what I remember, it's the moment when it starts to get a little boring but it still is a master brain move, Light probably try to make L think Kira is actually someone else who used Light and Misa to play as Kira. One of the things I love in this serie is how the mise en scène is close to actual thriller movies, it is one of the shows someone who doesn't watch anime would like |

This is awkward LOL this might be one of the only times I've had to do this, but I have to stop watching here, because half-way through the episode is up to where I've read the manga (Read up to Black Edition volume 2), so I guess I'll finish this episode once I've read the next volume and see where to go from there. This anime has been really good so far though! I really wish I had watched it sooner, but I guess reading the manga first wasn't so bad either, it's been a pretty good read and I'm so excited to keep going. |

| Bro… just what the fuck is happening lol, I couldn’t imagine what Light’s game was by confining himself and actually not causing any murders, and then going as far as making even himself forget about the death note, but this clever bastard chose the most insane route to throw suspicion off himself. So with the combination of his act of possibly not knowing that he’s Kira and wiping his own memory of committing his atrocities, it looks like he’s genuinely not lying and is confusing the hell out of L, like you don’t need to be a good liar if you’re not lying, it’s absolutely genius. And man, Detective Yagami is just too good of a dad, his reaction is very realistic, but it makes me wonder how such a good dad raised his son into such a monster, it’s just not right lol, like why couldn’t Light have a shitty dad or something to justify how he grew up this way, but no he has to have an amazing dad. And I also can’t help but feel for L in this situation too, he has both Kiras in the palm of his hand and it makes total sense for both of them to be Kira, but at the same time they both had a personality flip and there’s just no way to explain that without the rules of the death note, so to L it looks like the people that were just criminals turned innocent like the flick of a switch, it’s an insane situation and I don’t know how L is gonna handle it, guess I gotta keep watching huh lol. |
