Evangelion. 6 or so years ago I dropped it after 3 episodes and just seen it as another overrated mecha series, but for some reason several years later I decided to give it another shot and it turned out to be one of the best things I've ever seen, not just in anime but in all forms of cinema in general.

Toradora. I let it off the hook for a few episodes but I caught up and I can't wait for more.

Not anime but 24. I dunno, I just like the pacing of the show. I haven't been following it for a few seasons but I really like this season. I can't believe I missed it tonight but I'll grab a torrent or something later.

I was gonna quit watching Basilisk after 3 or 4 eps because it just seemed really poorly made and "old" looking. After sticking with it. It turned out to be really good also had one of the best endings I've ever seen in any anime. I almost cried at the end...so sad

Kino's journey wasn't blown away by the 1st episode but slowly it became a favorite!

I dropped Durarara after one ep', yet a few weeks later, decided to give it another go; ep' 2 was good yet 3 was classic!

When I was a child, I couldn't stand DBZ, yet I was more-or-less forced to watch marathons over the summer holidays; it became my all time favourite anime and single handedly got me into anime in general (even though I watched Pokemon, DBZ stood out and swayed me towards 'Japanese Cartoons').

Eureka Severn- I liked the character designs but it was a bit boring at first. then I managed to sit through some episodes and fell in love with it.

Shuffle!- I was utterly bored of all the different types of mary-sues it had in it, it was a typical harem anime yet somehow I stuck through it. I rather liked it in the end.

SCryEd- I just happened to catch it on tv. I didn't understand it at first but the storyline kept getting better and it was pretty awesome. I loved it~

Baccano because the first episode was really confusing but I forced myself to watch a couple more episodes then it started to make sense.
