Did the anime explain why Kaneki became Haise?

I never read the manga and I finished the anime a very long time ago and I am too lazy to rewatch it, so I want to ask you guys if they explained in the anime why Kaneki became Haise?, thanks guys.

It doesn't explains very well, if u wanna know u need to read manga there is so many details that anime just skips and rushes through

no it doesn't explain. It never explained. The Eye stab scene was manga-only.

no. actually he was stabbed in his eye by Arima and from that everything started. it was never explained in the anime.

They didn’t explain it in the anime it was manga only. Root A (season 2) was completely different from the manga which is why with Re: there are a lot of unexplained things such as hide and Kaneki/Haise’s romantic relationship with Touka

that was really the worst part that I didn't like in re: cuz I felt so dumb and so sad when I didn't know what happened to Kaneki and why he is haise now, I just cried sadly...🙃💀

It was self explanatory. He turned himself in to the doves and they're known for using ghouls, so when he popped up as Haise we were expected to know it was him and that that's what happened, which I personally did. a lot of people found ✓A to be confusing, but I'm not entirely sure why to be honest.

Arima groomed him as Haise after he lost his memory when he was stabbed by arima. There were some jail scene too in manga if I am not mistaken

Root A skips arima and Kaneki confrontation. it was left to audience interpretation

oh my. You're the first person ive seen since I watched the show that shares that same view as me. I've never understood why people were so confused. It even shows a brief flashback of Arima stabbing him after he turned himself over. seems like that's just about all they explain in the Manga too from what everyone is saying lol

My Guy got stabbed on deez eyez then lost his memory while hes supposed to be ded (plot armour moment) then they named him and assign him as a gigachad ghoul hunter

I think it has to do with creating another personality from trauma or forgetting from trauma. As Jason tortures him his hair turns white as this could be a change in personality to protect his original self from harm. That’s just how I see it.

basically when in second season ending when kaneki is waking with lifting hide he faces of with arima and loses then arima erases his memories then give him a new personality as haise
thats the reason kaneki turned into haise

They did and they didn’t. What I mean by that is that in the cochlea fight with arima it showed a one second scene of arima putting his quinque through kaneki’s skull in root a which was cut. But the anime never explained that kaneki was imprisoned, had amnesia, and was then recruited by the ccg under the name of haise sasaki. I personally think that it wasn’t logical to cut out the kaneki and arima fight in root a because after re came out anime only fans (like myself) were extremely confused.

The anime didn't say anything about kaneki turning to haise...the whole anime was rushed.....so..we didn't get to see the whole backstory...but it is implied that...he had lost his memory and....haise is like his another personality....
