| There are many school-centered action animes which involve either magic, superpowers, sometimes mechas of any kind or even just normal weapon-user battles. I already know quite a number but I'd like to know which have a more serious plot. There is no need for either harem or romance parts as often seen. (if they are included I don't have a problem with) The only wishes I have are at least a mixed cast (may also be female-only) and as mentioned above the plot which also can be really dramatic. Just please look into my list first |

| +1 GTO Highschool of the Dead And if you don't mind manga I really recommend Crows x Worst. School-centered but fistfight (you know, yankee and all that stuff). Really worth it. |
