| Although I think it's stupid if they ban you straight away after making a proper double post, just edit your post quickly. Cool beans. I haven't seen anyone get banned for that yet though (if anyone does it'll be me since I get ahead of myself) |

Everyone expected us to bomb, but we got to like 300 something with a century thrown in there. I thought England had been shit lately but then again, so have Australia. But at least you didn't get whitewashed by Bandagelsh. Go on Virtual Console and get Kirby 3, Kirby's Fanpak and Kirby's Dreamland. |

The scanlations start from like chapter 200 something. And they scanlated up to like 120. So there's this massive fuckit gap in the middle. So the VIZ release was the only way to get those in the middle. The scanlations were.....well the ones I've seen did manage to get quite a few of the cultural references, and Gintama uses quite a few untranslatable jokes and puns. Gintama isn't largely scanlated because it's a more text based manga, which means the bitchy lazy ass scanlators leave it because they don't like doing more work when they should for such a good manga as Gintama. I have up to 19, I sold 1-14. So I only have 15-19. Although I have two copies of 17. I can't get 20 cos I have no money. EDIT: VIZ also takes liberty with some of the jokes in Gintama and changes them. Like in around volume 14 when they fight in the Kagyu building, and the Four bodyguard guys introduce themselves, they have the same last names as the four heroines in Ichigo 100%. Gintoki comments on this saying 'I think I've seen you guys in a manga somewhere....are you 100%? Who's 100%? 100% dammit!' or something like that. In the VIZ version he says 'I think I've seen you in a boyband somewhere...' It's weird because Ichigo 100% is also released by VIZ so I don't see why they couldn't have done that joke... |
