| it seems that might be the case. now that humanity is saved...all the cool toys that they have accumulated will be tools for war. it also looks like that the girl that had enjoyed being at the top of the world has been upstaged by a newbie nobody. doesn't seem shes too happy about it. heh, the plot thickens... |

| It looks like students are going back to school. What justification brass will use to keep training new pilots for the Great Mission after it is complete. Surely they are not going to say "We are going to fight Mars now" or something like that. |
| Shima and Kouta save the world! The Great Mission is a success, though it had its rough spots, like a 100 km diameter asteroid heading straight for the earth. But they got the Infinity out, destroyed the asteroid, and sealed the barrier. Before all this, Shima felt like a failure, as she didn't destroy a single fragment. However, her teacher (Shirogane) said she did a great job because she saved the life of another pilot. So, Shima is showing her usual self-doubt, but she does save the world in the end. What's interesting is that all of these space stations were created for the Great Mission. Now what? This is only episode 10. There are 16 more! Great episode with a very positive outcome. |

| Now that that is out of the way I'm hoping for the others students to be useful to the story in any way. Giving talent to 3 characters in the same class or by having "the big 4" orbit around, it makes everyone else feel unneeded and a waste of screen time. Akira hasn't done a single thing yet T_T |
