| Please elaborate. It may simply work differently from the way you envision it. For instance, put 2009 in the starting year and you'll get everything that started from the beginning of 2009. Put end year at 2000 and everything that ended before the year 2000 is returned. |
| Unless I fill out literally every drop down box (for the date) including days and months, the search results end up completely unfiltered. So if I were, for example, looking for everything that started in 1997, I wouldn't be able to, unless I knew the exact start and end dates. |

This behaviour must be intended but sure, it's slightly more convoluted. In return, it gives you way more options. |
