| Hoo boy. I don't know if my ears can handle this. Time to put on a brave face an plunge in! 01. Nano Desu - Higurashi Yui Horie knows how to be silly, that's for sure. I think there needs to be a moratorium on how often she's assigned characters who make "cute" noises. Other than that, it's pretty standard for what I expect out of her. It's better than the one she sang for Bakemonogatari though. 02. Maze of the Dark - Negima! Voice really seems detached, which.. well, is this how her character is? I mean, there's not a whole lot here to grab one's attention since it goes along kinda predictability and the only thing that catches my ears are the electric guitars. 03. Kufufu no Fu ~Boku to Keiyaku~ - Reborn Well, the introduction was shaky, but glad to see the male characters get some representation. Not really sure how to put my finger on this since the transitions are a bit strange. Are his romantic notions (I assume most songs are love songs unless I have a better inclination) in character? Ah well~ 04. Koiiro Sora - White Album Yes. Easiest decision ever made. So tranquil.. so perfect! Pianos? Excellent! +2 05. Daijoubui - Kanamemo Note to self: Aki Toyosaki has transcended badness for some time and this one is further proof of that. 06. Mata Ashita! - Ouran Host Club Mass of singers get my approval. This thing works because they offer a mass of voices that blend together well with the instrumentals. Very upbeat, very nice. +2 07. Mayonaka no Philosophy - Negima! Wistful and calming in the beginning, nice percussion thing in the middle. Ehh.. care cup isn't too full here. 08. My Heartful Song - Shugo Chara No one's going to confuse this for her character since Mizuki's mark is all over this. It's still lively and wonderful to listen to though. +1 09. Fufufu - Maria+holic lolz 10. Dear My Keys -Kenban no Mahou- - K-ON Solid. +1 |

| Kufufu no Fu ~Boku to Keiyaku~ - Reborn +1 - not exactly that great, but kind of interesting.... Koiiro Sora - White Album +2 - Nice! I don't plan to watch the anime but I enjoy this a lot, probably due to the piano and the sad mood it seems to convey Mata Ashita! - Ouran Host Club +2 - still a favourite, just brightens up my day My Heartful Song - Shugo Chara +1 |

| Nano Desu - Higurashi (watched first season): This song almost makes me not want to watch the second season, the later OVAs, and on and on. I remember when just the "Hau" part of the song was spammed to hell and back when it came on, which irritated the hell out of me. Everything besides that isn't bad, though hearing Hocchan sound so cute bugs me. Maze of the Dark - Mahou Sensei Negima! (have not seen): Eh. Like her song from Negima?! better, but this isn't that bad. Kufufu no Fu ~Boku to Keiyaku~ - Reborn (have not seen): The change in feel from the verse to the refrain is a little jarring. But not bad. +1 Koiiro Sora - White Album (have not seen): Just wondering if the songs in this show are better than this, since I like this. Subjective, I know, but hey. :3 +1 Daijoubui - Kanamemo (completed): Sorry, Aki Toyosaki, but no. Just, no. I always skip this song whenever it comes up on the OST list. Mata Ashita! - Ouran Host Club (mostly through): Wish that there were more collab songs like this. Gives a good feeling. +1 Mayonaka no Philosophy - Negima!? (completed): I was deliberating between this, another Negima!? image song, and a Hidamari Sketch song, but it came down to who sang to the song better, and I felt that that was the case here. I also wanted to go in a different route than the usual pop-ish stuff I hear for image songs. Maybe I shouldn't have taken that tack, but oh well. I like the French-ish feel of it. +1 My Heartful Song - Shugo Chara (partially watched): More subdued Mizuki, which is d("d). +1 Fufufu - Maria+Holic (completed): One of the best parts of the anime. :P +1 Dear My Keys -Kenban no Mahou- - K-ON! (completed): Reminds me of ABBA in a way. Also reminds me of Suemitsu & the Suemith, so hey. |

| Guys, come on. Daijoubui is clearly one of the funniest things you have ever heard. I literally was walking through a store the first time I heard the song. I fell in love with Aki upon viewing K-On (Who didnt love Yui? Aki just plays an airhead so well) and then I wathced Kanamemo, and my jesus When I heard this song I tried so hard to hold back laughter, thankfully the store wasn't too crowded, and i could giggle silently in a unpopulated part of thestore. Other than that, I haven't heard any of these songs other than Dear My Keys (I might download that pack to humor you all), and I must say, anything that that power group spits out,, i mindlessly follow like a drone. I am a musician myself, a drummer, but honestly, K-On struck a chord with me (no pun intended). Good music, Slice of Life, Funny as hell... What more could I ask for? |
