| Studying his expression, Kaori couldn't figure out if he was hiding something or not. Something told her that he was, but she didn't want to call him out on it. After all, it would be a shame to burst his bubble and say she wasn't buying such a lie. She sighed and shook her head. "Alright then, but if you need to talk to someone, please just come see me, okay? I mean it." she gave him a look that said I know you're keeping something from me. With that, she turned around, heading for the exit. She had to quickly get back to the Squad Five barracks. If only she remembered something so important sooner. |

| *Triake watched her and nodded, her words didn't seem to match her eyes and the look she gave him really hurt but he knew it was for the better.* Triake: Of course I will do, be careful on your way back, you aren't at a hundred percent. *He waited until she had turned before getting out of the bath and putting on his clothes. He couldn't stay any longer he had to go. He made sure to get his sword but left the mask in the bath. The Lupine Hollow mask floated there, seemingly smiling. Triake's body hurt but he shunpo'd out of the area to the tunnel and shunpo'd up. He needed to get to Dante!* |
| Triake was there first. He didn't need to wait long... she was there shortly after. Her eyes spoke to him on some level... she wasn't just angry with him, she was upset. He didn't understand why though... why was she upset. "Talk to me Fenrir... what's wrong?" Fenrir simply shunpo'd at him slashing as if to take his head off. He already had his blade up in the path of her swing. Such speed and power shocked him. Had I not defended... she would have taken my head off... and I almost couldn't defend. He held her sword arm to stop her moving. "Why are you like this? What is wrong." When he asked, she screamed! She punched him in the gut with her free hand then kneed him in the same place. She then slammed her hilt into his face knocking him down, allowing her to jump away. Fenrir's tears where a shock to him. As were her words. "I can't do this Triake... Why don't you hate me for letting Kaori go? Why don't you love me like you love her? I can't stand not knowing!" She leapt forward and thrust straight for his heart. |

| Maybe it was having someone else intrude on them... maybe it was having someone else hear her private feelings. Whatever it was, Fenrir seemed to lose her mind. She split her sword in two and slashed at Miharu. Triake shunpo'd infront of her and blocked the attack. He thrust his hand forward and knocked Fenrir back, sending her tripping and shuffling back. "You shouldn't be here..." Was all Triake had time to say, Fenrir was upon them again. Triake split his sword as he tried to match her blow for blow. "Always people always there! Why won't you be happy with having me!? I'm sorry! I didn't mean to let her get taken!" Triake froze leaving himself open for a slash. Fenrir... you feel like this? How did I notice your guilt? |

| Triake can't stop the slash from biting into his chest. Triake gritted his teeth as he felt the pain wash though him, he couldn't help but notice she had completely avoided his haori. He blocked a slash and as she went for another one he turned into it so it would hit him on the shoulder, right on his symbol for captaincy. The blade stopped right above it as Fenrir bit her lip in frustration. He shoulder checked her knocking the woman to the ground and slashed releasing a burst of ice, attempting to trap her but she was up. "Why won't you say anything? You told me to talk why don't you say anything!!" Fenrir was crying again as she slashed blindly releasing wind and ice projectiles everywhere. Triake jumped in front of Miharu to shield her from the projectiles, using his sword to block. "I... am sorry Fen.." She was so suddenly infront of him that he froze. Her teary eyes didn't hide the anger. "Why are you just saying you are sorry!!" She went for his stomach this time. |

| "Who do you think you are?" Fenrir suddenly growled. "Get out of here! Stop intefering with my master and me!!" Fenrir shunpo'd to the side and attacked Triake again with a crescent of wind. Strangely though, Triake was able to block not because of the normal sense of danger he feels when he is attacked... but because he saw her entire motion. He could see all parts of the flash step which shocked him. While goggled, she moved to a different position and attacked again, he could see it. It was like she was moving through water, she went from moving normally to sort of bluring then appearing somewhere else. Changes? Is this a change or something that Fenrir sees? He had seen her watching him flash step from place to place before. "I know that, I'm trying to talk to her... you seem to be making her angry though." Triake shunpo'd towards Fenrir and slashed at her in an attempt to lock her blades down. |

| Fenrir counter-slashed as they entered a melee of slashing, he strokes were all slightly of balance. Worry... she's not focused. Triake feinted and she fell for it allowing him to knock her down to the ground. He was only partially sure she wouldn't kill him. He had never seen Fenrir this distraught before. She had made a few blows that had he not blocked would have ended his life. "This is how we talk... this is how we are." Fenrir suddenly swept his legs out from under him and was suddenly sitting on top of him, she stabbed at him eagerly as Triake rolled underneath her. She aimed a stab at his chest which he blocks by crossing his swords. Triake then uses a clever flick of his sword and sends one of Fenrir's blade flying away. She seemed shocked, she was definitely shocked when Triake reversed their positions and rolled her over so he was ontop of her. |

| Fenrir still tried to attack him, she aimed a cut at his shoulder but he was able to block it with a forearm to her elbow. She released the sword and it skittered away. He tossed his sword and grabbed for her arm. They began scrapping as she tried to knee, punch and scratch him, while he tried to pin her down. She suddenly wrapped her legs around his waist and tried to squeeze the air out of him while her hands clawed at his throat. Triake finally slammed both hands firmly to the iced ground. She tried to headbutt him but he moved his head to the side and put it next to hers. He reckoned she could bite his ear but... what was an ear? Fenrir then went after his ear... but she didn't bite... she licked. Triake turned his head in shock and Fenrir kissed him. It wasn't a light kiss as she pulled him closer with her legs. A confused moment as he didn't understand what was happening and he loosened his grip on her hands. He feared attack as she broke his grip, but her hands found their way to his head and neck, she continued to kisses him deeply. Triake found that he was kissing her back but as soon as he did he pushed her away... which was difficult considering their position. He had to push her head to the ground while lifting his. "Aren't I better? Don't you like kissing me?" Fenrir said, the emotion making her voice high. Triake was speechless... Had he completely ignored her feelings all this time? "Fen... I love Kaori... and I love you... you are my partner." She gave him a look that told him it wasn't enough. "You are irreplaceble to me... but in a different way... I just don't feel that way for you." She started to tear up again... Triake didn't know what to do. |

| Fenrir tried to kiss him again but when he moved his head away, she started talking, tears emerging. "What did I do wrong? Why not me?! Why do you love her more than me?" It seemed like Kaori was firmly in her mind... how long had this been going on. "I don't love her more than you Fenrir... I just love her in a different way." She grabbed his head and his hair. He stopped talking as he was forced to look into his eyes. "Kiss me then... and tell me if you still don't want me... I can feel that you want me!" She pulled him forward and kissed him again and this time he indulged her. When they finished, she looked at him and he said to her. "It felt like I was kissing a sister." Her eyes widened and her body went slack as she sobbed in earnest as if he had struck her. Triake took the opportunity to lift himself off her, he hadn't meant to be so harsh. He didn't expect her legs to come up so quickly. She kicked him clean though a frozen rock. She rose slowly, tears streaming down her cheeks, her eyes glowing white. Triake caught a glimpse of her in time to hear her say. "Bankai!" Triake had never felt so much Reiryoku condense and explode before. When the dust settled, there was a very large wolf, near 10 metres in height. The wolf had wings and at its feet, Reiryoku pooled around. This was the form Triake had first seen of Fenrir... although it had been alot smaller. It roared out and he could feel her pain and her sadness. "You never tamed this form... and if you slack of I will kill you!" She screamed from atop the wolf. Triake hesitantly called his sword back to his hand. If I can beat her... she will listen... and I can get stronger. |

| The Wolf sent a rock fast at him with a swipe of her paw. Triake leapt onto and over it, calling his swords to hand. He dived out of the way as the wolf slashed at him while dancing around to get in biting range. Triake moved out of the way but his chest was cut. Wind?! He danced but was caught and sent crashing away by her tail. She howled and after him, the ground started freezing all around. Triake shunpo'd away to a safe distance. This is madness... I had Kaori to help me in the trials before but this is something else! He composed himself and decided it was time to get serious about this, she was trying to kill him. Triake leapt onto the rock and stared the wolf down. He placed his hand underneath his jaw and pulled upwards, calling his mask. He could see her doing the same atop her perch. She may be stronger... but now he had more weapons. They charged at each other Triake leapt into the air and fire his Reiten Taihou at the wolf's face, the condensed blast of reiryoku that had injured his sister sent the wolf sprawling to the side. His mask shattered but he reformed it immediately... he had master it. The wolf flipped back onto its feet and snarled at him.... the battle would go on. |

| Triake burst forward with great speed as he avoided claw after claw, even a snap of the teeth. He slide under the jaw and flipped towards the stomach, he let his hand stretch out "REITEN TAIHOU!" He slammed the compressed Reiryoku into the gut of the giant wolf. He was able to lift the beast off its paws, it even whined alittle. Triake was slammed into the ground but somehow he managed to land on his feet. He swept his hand over his face and reformed it before he launched himself into the air and slammed his fist into the wolf before using his cannon once more. The wolf shrieked as it was sent flying into a different area, he could see Fenrir ontop using her sword lead to direct its fall. The wolf land on her feet and sent several large wind and ice projectiles his way. Before he could reform his mask a cero crashed into him sending him into one of the baths. He stuck his head above the water and looked around, it was undamaged... he was happy because he would eventually bring Kaori here and make sure he had kissed her in every single bath without fail. He stood and reformed hismask before he dashed once more. |

| Triake was upon her almost immediately, he danced to avoid the deft movement's of the wolf paws, one clean touch and he could die, the amount of reiryoku that he could see made his cannon seem paltry in comparison. They were both taking power from their surroundings and since it was always returned they could fight for a long time. It was how he was realising his mask worked. It absorbed and transformed the reiryoku around him and turned it into a weapon and once it was spent, it would return. As the wolf made a misstep, Triake was up the paw, running towards the head only to get swiped at by the other paw. Triake spun in midair so he could catch his flight and land on his feet, sideways on a rock. He kicked of shattering the boulder and sending him back to the wolf. His sword was sheathed for now, he would need it later. He landed about half up the wolf's legs. He dashed and danced up avoding dangerous nips and bites. As he reached the shoulder he reckoned he had enough to try. He slammed his fists into the wolfs shoulders. It groaned, then he gave it a punching session while jumping around. He kicked off hard and as he flipped in midair, he held both his arms forward and fired two Reiten Taihou's at once into the base of the wolf's head... where Fenrir was sitting.The force sent him high enough to almost touch the ceiling while it sent the wolf crashing to the ground. |

| He had no time to daly, he swept his hand from under his chin and reformed his mask. Just as Miharu appeared in front of him he spun out of her kick and said. "Don't interefere with us or you will disallow us from working together... You and everything else will wait!!" He kicked off and sped towards Fenrir. A cero greeted him. He turned so just half his mask was torn off, it sent him into a quick spin. He coated his arms in his strongest black ice and curled his body turning himself into a bullet. The kick had given Fenrir the chance to move to a better vantage point, that was the only reason the woman had allowed the wolf to be hit. She raised her hand and fired cero after cero at the bullet but she souldn't halt the momentum. Instead she made the wolf rear up and allowed it to take the blow to the stomach. The wolf skidded back several feet as it couched the blow. Fenrir's mask shattered as did Triake's when they came to a halt. Both were smiling. "I'm going to win Ibo!" He shouted to her. "I'm not even serious yet, Ibo!" She shouted back. He wondered if she was bluffing. The giant wolf felt onto its side with laboured breathing... then Fenrir started glowing. She brought the reins together and said "WereFenris!" Suddenly the wolf was wrapped in a white robe, white hair grew from the head, resembling hair... or a mane. The Wolf got to it's feet and stood only on it's hind legs... and it had a mask. Triake reformed his and they roared in unison. His mask pattern had changed, it was now half white, half black. |

| Neither of them heard her, they didn't even notice... to enthralled were they with each other. They were too busy trying to beat each other. Triake dashed forward to attack but he was stopped by an enormous blade being slashed at him. It was a western claymore, sharpened with wind at with an 8 metre blade. Triake drew his sword and split it. He surrounded the edges with reiryoku and made his attack. The blade swept across allowing Triake to jump on it. He guarded his legs with wind as he ran across the sword, feeling the wind slice and cut at his. Fenris lifted her blade to throw him off but he kept his footing until at an opportune angle and he kicked off. He flung his sword at her body cutting her at the shoulders. He was slapped out of the air so hard, it felt like every bone in his body had been broken. He couldn't regain his feet as he smashed into the ground. Only his mask's natural reaction to gather excess Reiryoku saved his body. |

| Triake got to his feet and shakily brushed off the dust. He sucked in more Reiryoku and lunged. He closed the distance between them and started to attack, he avoided a claw and slid under a cut from the sword before he slammed a leg onto Fenris' wrist. He had to pound on the appendage over and over again, avoiding the occasional nip and interference before he had enough effect to make her drop the sword. Triake made sure his mask was formed before he went in for the kill. Triake was pushed back by a double palm thrust from Fenris. The impact made him crash into the far wall. He rebounded though, unafraid to make his final stroke. He shot forward and crashed into her chest, winding her. He slammed forward on Reiten Taihou, as his right hand came back from the recoil he used the other to reform his shattering mask. He stretched out his left arm and fired another. As his hand came back he used the momentum to spin and reform his mask before he fired two more blasts at Fenris, rocking the giant werewolf. Triake's arms were now crossed as he reformed his mask with both hands moving sideways across his face. His arms were cocked behind him as he gathered energy from all around him. "Reiten Pondohou!" A bird shaped burst of Reiryoku slammed into Fenris knocking her off her feet and sending her clear across the arena. Triake's mask remained intact. It didn't break... which means... I've gotten stro... Triake's vision blurred as he slipped out of the air, his mask crumbling as he crashed into the ground. |
| Through the hole Miharu formed Jaspa slips in and sees Triake falling; he dashes across and catches him, collapsing as Triake bundles into him. "Almost there, Aniki, but it'll take more than that" He lays hims down and puts his own jacket over Triake. He eyes wonder over to Fenrir who is still lying motionless at the far side of the arena, a sigh escapes his lips. "Always so ruddy rash aren't you? well, at least you're both alive". He looks at the carnage and swallows hard, if he was going to help him he was going to have to be able to hold his own. (Sorry for gatecrashing :P) |

| Fenrir got up first, her bankai released yet she was still in her human form. She looked at Jaspa and then the sleeping Triake. She drew her sword and approached her master, eyes only on him. "Don't get in my way or I'll kill you." She said as she walked to Triake. The idiot had a smile on his face. I love the idiot, so what does that make me? She stood by him as she spun the sword facing down she descend with a stabbing motion and put the blade by his head. She was know kneeling by him, she lowered her head and kissed his lips softly. "You beat me again master... I will follow you even if you won't love me that way... not master... I-bo..." She walked away, to one of the baths... she would need to be rested. Triake's eyes opened not long after as he looked at the jacket covering him, slightly confused about what had happened... he still felt something soft on his lips, like the ghost of a touch. |
| Jaspa remains quiet, sitting on a rock, the silence only disturbed when he slips, hitting the ground with a dull thud. He looks at Triake, who byy now has probably pieced everything together. Taking out a coin he plays with it, before finally speaking "Now that you and she are reconciled, you should be getting ready to leave, I can't teach you much... but if you want, I will spar with you..." |

| Triake looked up after hearing the voice. Jaspa, of course.... the jacket. "We have to move... there's no time! I think Miharu is in danger!" Triake stood up, expecting a headrush but there was none... he didn't feel tired, he felt refreshed... and his energy was back, he looked at the sword planted next to where his head was. "I need you to go out from the hole you came in while I seal it... I'll leave through the door." Triake waited for Jaspa to go before he froze the entire side of the wall around the hole. That way the lava will cool before it completely melts the ice... some will leak through but as long as it is not boiling hot it should seal this hole. Triake shunpo'd to the main gate and jumped up out of the actual entrance which locked behind him. "Are you ready Jaspa?" |

| Triake checks his sword in the scabbard. "She's resealed herself, so she's here." He held Jaspa with his eyes and said. "As long as we save Kaori... I don't care what you do... this captain will turn a blind eye." As he was about to open a Senkaimon a voice stopped him. "Taichou!" Triake turns his head to see his Lieutenant. "Hinamori?" She seemed a little out of breath but she looked determined in her hands another haori. "I know you are going to save Kaori and... you should do it wearing a clean haori." She motioned to his that was dusty and had quite a few tears in. The young captain smiled and held his hand out. "Thank you... Momo." A blush creeped on to the girls cheeks as she handed him the new change of clothes. She held out to bundles to him. He took the first, it was light and he had an idea what it was. He unravelled the first to find the sheath he had requested. It was black and had two protrusions form both his blades. He gave it a test twist and the two holders split apart. Perfect The length was longer than his original, the length of a nodachi. Triake drew his sword and elongated the blade until it was the proper length before he reshethed his sword in its new holder. He slung the sheath on his back. The second bundle, he tied to his waist, he didn't unravel it... he knew without a glance. I will return you to her Kourizimaru Triake opened a Senkaimon to earth. "Are you ready? We are going to leg it... We can't afford to lose time." |
| Jaspa nods and dashes with Triake, matching his shunpo with ease, focusing more of his energy on maintaining his composure as he traveled through. This place was wrong, he would never get used to it, but never mind, he shook his head and pushed forward, he wouldn't be a burden. | Triake made sure he wasn't moving with too much speed, he could get himself killed in the dimension between worlds. "Plan? I need to get to Kaori... if I can we've won somewhat. Tori will release her to me... and we'll be safe to leave it's just getting to her that is the problem." He glanced at the zanpakuto on his waist, in his hands it would just be a regular sword. Triake had linked the Senkaimon to an interesting place in the human world... one that he had memorised in case he ever needed a quick escape. As the light at the end of the tunnel came into view, he slowed. "We need to go a bit slower now, our landing point is not very big." Triake gingerly stopped and stepped through the entrance. |

She felt like she had been in Las Noches for so long that she had slowly been forgotten what Soul Society was like. The place seemed a little more trashed than she had remembered. She let the thought slip her mind as she hugged him tightly. "Thank you so much for saving me, I'm forever in your debt, my prince." She gave him a deep, long kiss, one she had been planning to give him the moment she saw him again, but it had been delayed. She had missed him, so much. But something wouldn't stop tugging at the back of her mind. Kaori seemed thoughtful for a moment, then said. "You seemed worried about something when we left. It wasn't just you who came, was it?" she realized Unohana must still be there, and there must have been others. "And they're still there, aren't they?" |

| Triake kissed her back. He hadn't been expecting it and afterwards was a little wobbly on his feet... he had been scared he might never feel her kiss again. Triake had really been prepared to die just to save her. "Prince? Debt? What self respecting prince could leave his princess trapped in an enemy castle. I just had to save you." He moved her to the closest bath, the winter day area and sat her on the rock. Triake began to take off her the clothes around her legs and feet, also so he could get a better look at her. In some ways he wished he hadn't. Her feet had been punctured several times by needles it seemed, her leg was broken... he could tell that just by the bruising. It made tears roll down his cheeks. "I'm... sorry I didn't come sooner." Triake said, unaware that to her, he had... many times. He continued to remove her socks, the her hakama as well, lifting her when he needed to. "Should I also remove the top, ojou-sama?" He had removed the bottoms because he thought it might have been difficult maybe even painful for her to attempt herself. He knew she could do the top herself but if he was going to do one, why not the other? |
| Kaori grimaced as Triake pulled off the bottom of her clothes. She had never taken a good look at what had happened to her feet and when she did, she had to look away because just looking at it made them hurt even more. She looked up at him with a hopeful smile. "I'll be fine, as long as I'm not back there anymore." Even as she said it, all those memories of the illusions kept coming back to her like a tidal wave. She tried to keep them from coming back, they weren't real, you need to forget to move on. But why was it so hard? She shook her head, "I'll get it myself." She seemed weary as she pulled out one arm after the other, and finally over her head and off herself. She did a small check of herself, aside from a couple small bruises, she seemed fine in this area. She was grateful that her legs had been the only thing damaged, not thinking about the temporary loss of her mind when she needed it most. |

| As she made the slow progress of removing her clothes, Triake turned and did the same. He was able to make quicker progress but he knew now that the wounds he had received in his fight against Fenrir would show again, especially the claw marks and a cut on his shoulder that was obviously from his own blade as the two blade marks were so perfectly aligned that it wasn't just two cuts. When he had finished and placed everything next to his Haori, he moved back to her and lifted her up again. Triake kissed Kaori gently before a hard set fell on to his face. He stepped over the rocks and into the bath still holding her. "I see the burns over your back... the cuts and the bruises... yet you don't even let on that you are hurting." He suddenly makes a face as he tries to hold in his worries, something his sister had taught him, a face that belonged to an emotionless statue. "I know you are going to hold it in... so..." He moved his head to the side. "Bite me, on the muscles on my shoulder." He paused as he knew she would argue but he continued to keep up that face, his eyes wer caring but his face was stone... The family resemblance started to show. "I need to know how much pain you are in and this will tell me... I need to know... so please do it." Triake would wait for her to do what he asked and when she did... he would give her a smile and hold her tight as he lowered her into the bath. |
| As Kaori set eyes on Triake's cuts, she had a worried look. Had he gotten into a fight with Fenrir? She wanted to ask, but she kept it to herself for now as she was once again in his arms. She kissed him, but as she did, she realized there was something on his mind. She averted his eyes as he spoke, not replying. But when he asked her to bite him, her eyes took on a confused look. "I can't do that..." The emotionless face that he wore, where had she seen it before? She blinked once and she knew. Suddenly, it was not Triake's face she saw, but Tori's. She turned her head towards Kaori and gave her that smile. The same smile she saw from the first illusion, the same smile that kept playing back in her mind. "Stay away!" she cried aloud and desperately pushed away from Triake, breaking free from his grasp and falling into the water. The burns on her back flared up as they met the hot water and it was nearly ten seconds before her head emerged from the water with a terrified look. She could see Triake again, but still she was afraid. "You looked...." |

| Triake froze when she shouted. He remembered her doing that before in the room when he had held her, tried to reassure her that everything was going to be alright. He didn't know what to do. He waited an agonisingly painful time for her to resurface and as she did, she was looking at him as if he had become a monster. Triake moved closer to her, slowly and easily trying to show he wouldn't hurt and when he got close enough he placed his arms under her and picked her up again. Triake rested his back against a rock and held her against him, resting her on his lap. His face flitted in and out of the statue like look before it cracked completely. He suddenly lowered his head as tears started to form and roll down his cheeks. "I'm sorry my love." He hugged her body. "I'm so sorry I let you get taken... that I let them have you for so long." Triake rested his head on her shoulder, hurting because he knew how much she was hurting... he had been in a similar state after what had happened to Fenrir when Kaori had first been taken. |
| Kaori watched him warily as Triake came closer. She was like a mouse, ready to run at the first hint of danger. But when she was back into his arms, she seemed to calm down. Kaori didn't know what to say, she had just proved to both him and herself that she was still suffering. Seeing Triake cry, it hurt more than any burn, cut or bruise on her body. "When this is over.." she thought aloud, trying not to think of the past. "Let's go out for another date... and we can go eat at the restaurant again, I'd love to see little Yuki and Baba-san again..." she paused for a minute, "and then we could watch the sunset every night. Well, maybe not every night, I suppose you'll be busy as a captain now. And maybe we could train together..." Really, all she was doing was trying to make her good memories cover over the bad. But as she thought about it more and more, she wondered if anything would go back to normal... would she ever be normal again? |

| Triake suddenly kissed her neck. "What would I do without you? You always seem to say the right things." As she went on reminding him of their first date he paused and looked at her a little worriedly. She seemed to be babbling a little... Kaori wasn't alright at all. He held her head and made her look into his eyes. "My love... it is over... we can go for a date when we want. You are safe here with me." Tears still glistened in his eyes but he smiled. "And I'm sure our family would love to see us again." He stroked her cheek. He couldn't help but wonder what else would bring back the bad memories for her. He didn't know what she experience so... it could be anything. Anytime she saw the familial resemblance between him and his sister it could be the same. His hand rose and he started stroking her hair as he pulled her to his shoulder. "I love you." He said as he continued to stroke her. |
| Kaori hadn't realized she had been talking way more than her usual self, but she realized as she looked into his eyes that she could see a hint of worry. "You're right..." she said in a quiet tone. His touch was comforting and she said nothing more and decided just to enjoy the silence. "I love you, too." she replied as she hugged him tightly. She didn't know what she would have done if she didn't have someone as caring as him. "So much more than I could ever show you..." Kaori was safe now, and she decided she needed to start acting like it, if only for the sake of Triake. |

| As she spoke, he nodded... he knew exactly what she meant because he felt the same way. The water seemed to wash his worries away just like it did his wounds as he continued to stroke his love gently. He didn't mind not talking it was just good to hold her again, he looked at her beautiful legs to see how they were healing up in the water. "This might hurt, Koka, so hold on." He moved his hands to her broken leg, one on knee, the other on the ankle. "Don't be afraid to scream or make a noise... no one will hear you in here." Triake looked her in the eye and said. "Just try not to think about the leg, think about something nice like our date tomorrow." When Triake said 'to', he stretched the limb a bit to realign the bones, he knew Kaori had been walking on it so he just wanted to be sure it healed up properly... that was something else had been taught. |

| Kaori realized just what Triake was going to do and she nodded, preparing herself. Why hadn't she remembered to do that sooner? She may have had to break it again to make it heal properly if it was not for him. As he began to move the bones, she made a small noise and winced. The bruises around it had already healed but it was truly the bone that hurt the most.Taking his example, Kaori began to think about their date. Perhaps she could bring him around to some places this time. It wasn't long before she realized that he was done and she dipped her leg back into the water. "Thanks." she smiled, already feeling better. Her eyes went from his to his shoulder, where the cuts had been. They were healing fine, but she could still see them. "Did... something happen between you and Fenrir?" |

| He noticed she made a noise as he moved and preformed the job, she even winced. Triake said afterwards quite seriously. "You showed that you were feeling pain... it must have really hurt." He looked away, silently worried about her because she would never admit she was hurt. That just means I have to make sure she never gets hurt again. He stroked her hair absently, thinking along that thread when she asked the question. "Fenrir tried to kill me." He said. No humour or lightness, he meant it... and she had. "We fought and she was trying to kill me... I mastered the other form of my bankai in the process though... and Fenrir is back to normal but I don't know if the situation was fully resolved." He sighed and kissed her cheek, hoping she didn't ask what they fought over. |
