There is an episode in Frontier which references Zero and makes more sense if you watch it in that order. Its funny, because when I first saw the title I thought Macross Zero, even though I saw it before seeing Air. I was going to suggest Nausicaa and Kiki's Delivery Service, but you've seen those. So my other recommendation is a short film you can probably find on Youtube called On Your Mark. I'd link it but Youtube seems to be broken atm. |
