for item (34) Watch an anime that started airing in October (each episode must be at least 16 minutes), would Boku no Hero Academia: UA Heroes Battle work?

Hello I have a question zbout the quests retrictions for WHACK-A-MOLE, what do I do if an item doesn't exist with said restriction ?

In my case I want to do all the quests with the romance tag, but it doesn't exist for my mean scores "erotica", neither for "boys love" ... (come on, erotica / boys love have romance most of the time, just not in the tags lol), so should I take the third mean score with the right tag (ecchi, full of romance lol), or am I screwed for that restriction ? :/

Unfortunately you won't be able to use that restriction.

For (9) Watch an anime featured in a 2025 AWC participant’s forum avatar or signature, if I took a screenshot of the post when I filled out my list, but they then changed their avatar/signature, will it still count if I include the screenshot?

(56) Watch an anime with more users in the "Plan-to-Watch" stat than the "Completed" stat (anime must finish airing before you start it)

Would the Kaijuu No. 8 Hoshina OVA count for this? It "finished airing" back in March but was only truly released today (at least on CrunchyRoll) so the PTW:Completed Ratio is extremely skewed at least at the time of writing

If I started watching an anime this year, but I don't fully remember the exact date when I started watching it, what would you prefer me to put as the start date in my entries?

Two things:

(14) Watch a TV-type anime with an irregular release schedule (where at least one episode was released less than 7 days after its previous episode or more than 7 days after its previous episode)
I feel like the answer is definitely yes, but I wanted to ask just in case: If a series released its first two episodes at once, that qualifies here, right?

(82) Watch an anime by a studio you haven't seen anything from (studio cannot be listed as producer)
If, by the time we turn it in, I've seen multiple things from a studio, but I keep track of dates, can I use the first one I watched for this item?

Another question.

(47) Watch an anime that has a main character’s name/nickname/alternative name in the main title
Does this have to be their entire name? If it only includes their first or last name, but it's clear who's being referred to, is that valid?

(59) Watch an anime that has a higher score than a listed Adaptation under related anime

Two questions related to this:
1) It says "under related anime", but if we're talking about Adaptation, wouldn't that be an manga or light novel instead? I don't think that an anime can be adapted from another anime, or at least there's not very many of them.
2) The turn-in code asks for scores when you start watching. If you've already started when you write your turn-in post, should you just use the most recent scores then?

(73) Watch an anime that has more main characters than supporting characters

I don't see any note about it needing to be complete before you start like some other items do. What happens if the anime is valid for this when you start it, but later on more supporting characters are added? I don't know for sure if it will actually happen, but the one I'm looking at is Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze.

I have a question about the item "(73) Watch an anime that has more main characters than supporting characters", if the anime (that is a movie) don't have supporting character, it still counts for the item?

For item( (9), is it alright to watch any season of mentioned anime?

(40) Watch an anime that began airing the same season and year as one of the anime in your MAL favorites (favorite anime must have been completed before item is started)

Does it have to have the season listed on its MAL page? It doesn't specify that it needs to be a TV type, but other types don't have that section.

This may be an odd question, but will I receive an error if I include a series I began watching before the air date listed on the MAL page?

For example, I started watching Kanpekisugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru on April 3rd, 2025 and have it as such on my list, but the database page says it began airing on April 10th, 2025. I think this may be because the first episode released early on sites like Crunchyroll before it started airing on TV.

Can I watch movie for item (32) ?

Is it alright watch anime shorter than 16 min of total time duration if it's not mentioned like in item (96) ?

For (8), how would I tell when they dropped it?

For this item, I watched Kaiju No. 8: Hoshina's Day Off. At the time I watched it, it fulfilled the requirements of the item but as of today, it doesn't anymore. I took a screenshot of the stats on the day I watched it as proof of it fulfilling the item's criteria at the time. Would it still be valid? Thanks in advance!

I watched Sugar Apple Fairy Tale Part 2 back in May for item (110) in Tarot Cards as an anime tagged with Shoujo. While I was double checking my form, I noticed it isn't tagged as Shoujo anymore.

I checked on Internet Archive, and it looks like the tag was changed within the past couple of months. Will I still be able to use it for (110) if I provide a screenshot of a Wayback Machine archive of the page from May? [screenshot]

Hi i have a question.

i got a message from awc_mod that there was an error with an anime in tier 2 of the minigame plinko that i will have to replace.

It's the first item on Tier 2 so am i gonna have to redo entire Tier 2 as well as Tier 3? Tier 2 would have a finish date of this month instead of april(T3 finished in may).
Rule says Tiers has to be done in order as well as items within each tier can be done in any order AND only the items in this Mini-Game need to be done in order which is confusing since they contradict each other.

This isn't relevant for me this year since I've already turned in, but I thought I'd ask in case it comes back next year. For the item that requires you to watch something featured in an AWC participant's avatar or signature, it doesn't actually specify that it needs to be someone else. Is that implied, or is it OK to use yourself for that?

But yes it's supposed to be another participants signature/avatar. If we use that item in the future I'll see if we can make it more specific for you ^^
