Having watched Anthem of the Heart and seeing the script writer is the same I hope movie won't be ruined in the last third by creating some forced drama with ending coming out of nowhere.

Will still watch anyway, especially if artstyle is anything close to Anohana or Anthem

There is no gay theme or forced drama, instead the emotional conflict is rather simple and superficial. A classic Mari Okada plot, but definitely not her best work.
