Since anime getting a complete adaptation of the Manga or Light Novel doesn't happen much, if Alya anime doesn't end up getting a complete anime adaptation of the light novels. Which volume is the best stopping point for the anime in the light novels so far to give a conclusive ending? |

There is no conclusive ending. Every volume ends with some kind of cliffhanger. |

@Zarutaku V9, which presumably would be S3. Can't say much about V10 since it won't be out before July 1st. That being said, I definitely don't want the show to stop until they've animated the bit about Alya discovering that Masachika knows Russian. |

@aurora_yuuki It should stop before Yuki becomes the predictable losing heroine, I can't suffer seeing a brother being stolen from his sister. |

gurkamal123 said: people are watching this due to Russian mc but she doesn't portrait like Russian but more like a normal japanese anime character Majority of the foreign heroines in romance novels behave like Japanese because they spent years living in Japan~ For the case of Roshidere, the light novel mentions that Alya's family travel between Vladivostok and Japan regularly. Well, there is a Russian heroine in a different romance light novel that behaves like a Russian. I dislike this Russian heroine romance novel. To OP: Every volume of Roshidere ends with a cliffhanger and anime will likely continue airing due to its high sales numbers in Japan. Roshidere Volume 10 is already no1 trending in Sneaker Bunko upcoming novels, with Life Reversal Volume 2 at the no2 spot. |

@Zarutaku @WaterMage S2 will barely have any of that, trust me. Provided that they follow the same pacing as S1, the first 5 episodes will purely be romantic with Yuki's shenanigans. These episodes will adapt V4, which IMHO is the best volume all things considered thus far. Masha fans are in for a treat. Then the last 4 episodes will center around the school cultural festival. I won't be spoiling anything, but the psychological warfare between the MCs and a new antagonist will be the highlight of the season. It's worth being hyped about. Honestly, you'll be eating good no matter which of the heroines you're rooting for. |

@Zarutaku thanks it was interesting to read. I am glad they are in Germany which is atleast more open and safe than India. Depending on which state it could be even worse, specially piece of shit parents like these. Like grounding your child for having relationship is very common thing in our culture and other abuses. But big brother is real saviour thanks to him they have happy life. Looking at how much they struggled for years hopefully they can live happily. *Please no AFD govt.* |

Especially for many Kadokawa novels nowadays, in both romance and fantasy genres. One of the main reasons why I go to smaller Japanese light novel publisher sites to look for new light novels to read. I look forward to your opinion when this foreign heroine romance novel gets adapted. Has been months since I read it, don't remember if she is Swedish or Norwegian, considering majority of the foreign heroines in romance novels are from Nordic countries. One of the most copied-and-pasted romance foreign heroine romance novel I have ever read. Nothing interesting, story does not flow well and forced drama. |

@Zakatsuki_ Nah, what I meant is that there are many illustration baits or synopsis baits recently. An attractive illustration or an intriguing synopsis, but the story is not well written, either distracting, deviating or forced drama. These types of baits are common among Kadokawa titles recently, Ishura, Sasaki And Peeps, Don’t Put Collar On Witches, etc. Not sure why these types of baits are common in Kadokawa~ |

@aurora_yuuki Roshidere synopsis sounds like Alya teasing Masachika but in recent volumes, Alya is aggressively seducing Masachika. For the Angel Next Door, I think it can be considered an illustration bait. It has character development in the story but the romance novel is outclassed by many other cohabitation novels we have nowadays….. The story should have ended in 4 volumes but SB Creative wants to milk the series…. Not bad, just outclassed. Especially with the large amount of cohabitation with foreign heroines nowadays. |

It also revealed to me that there are hidden gems in romance genre too, which eventually led me to the romance novel that made me drop Angel Next Door. :P aurora_yuuki said: Very long title... I miss the times when they used to be short back in the 2000s and 2010s. Nowadays, LN readers, including the author, name it with a shorter name, Otonari Asobi. :) I still don't know how to name this romance novel. :/ The title is too long that I just described it as 'unbuttoned blouse' to other LN readers for now. |

I think so. It was the second foreign heroine romance novel I read, with Roshidere being the fourth. It also revealed to me that there are hidden gems in romance genre too, which eventually led me to the romance novel that made me drop Angel Next Door. :P

"Unbuttoned blouse", heh~ βͺ ω βͺ Good one~ "I was surrounded by the Madonna of the school who had rejected so many confessions." Too long and dull. Nowadays, authors of isekai and romcoms try to entice the audience by summarizing the synopsis into the title of their work. Can't say I approve. NewestPersonHere said: which eventually led me to the romance novel that made me drop Angel Next Door. :P Why would that make you drop it? I believe as a romance novel itself, The Angel Next Door is just fine. It's not stellar or novel, nor does it bring any novelty into the genre itself. Furthermore, unlike some romance novels, the writing The Angel Next Door has actual depth and the characters actually do undergo development. Even the side characters aren't redundant, and have a role to play in the story. |

aurora_yuuki said: "Unbuttoned blouse", heh~ This romance LN is another one of those illustrations baits, I think it trends directly above Roshidere last week, below Takane No Hana (another illustration bait). The second cover illustration is even more erotic~ I have read around 20 chapters of the WN, no lewd scenes despite the author’s history of making the male lead seeing the female lead naked…. aurora_yuuki said: "I was surrounded by the Madonna of the school who had rejected so many confessions." This is only part of the title. Here is the full title: I Became the Boyfriend of the School’s Madonna, Who Had Turned Down Numerous Confessions, but Somehow, Without Realizing It, I Wasn’t Just Playing a Role Anymore I think the illustrator struggled to fit the title onto the cover. XD aurora_yuuki said: Why would that make you drop it? I believe as a romance novel itself, The Angel Next Door is just fine. As you mentioned, Angel Next Door’s characters have depth and proper development as compared to majority of the romance LNs we have nowadays. I don’t have the time to follow it because there are many better options out there. Furthermore, I don’t see any direction after volume 5~ I heard from other LN readers that the publisher is currently milking the series. I felt that volume 4 is a good jump-off point. I don’t dislike Angel Next Door, I think I will enjoy my time more when I look at other series. :) Huh, according to my epub reader, I read Angel Next Door Vol 5 in August 2023. I was addicted to Silent Witch at that time. |
