Manga is ending in 6 chapters, marking ch410 as the final chapter. Final volume will be released on August 29.

It’s always sad to see the end of such an amazing manga. Hopefully with the recent s2 announcement there’s still a chance that we will be getting a sequel manga, I’m still not caught up but I can’t believe that he would just end it after the Barca game with a timeskip, there’s simply too much to explore, too many characters, teams and themes to introduce, so much potential left.

I agree, but it's a very logical endpoint. The main goal has always been to see Aoi go pro, and it's understandable why the rest can be left to speculation for the reader. Plus, there could be other reasons we're not aware of, such as a writer's block, lack of further interest , health/family issues, etc. I would love for a sequel manga to explore Aoi's life further, but I am more than satisfied having seen it all the way to this point. There's very few sports manga that have entertained me fully to the end like Ao Ashi.

i hope Ashito's nii-san got the spotlight after the main story end... still i'm sad the main story must end :cry:

Devastated man, this has to be the most enjoyable sports manga I've read. Could've easily had another arc or two, but jeez that Barcelona arc was lengthy, amazing arc but nearly too dragging haha
