Spy x Fam is a different genre, but the characters are pretty similar - especially Shinomiya/Yor. And we are stuck in a status quo where the relationships never really progress.

Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku is also a rom-com but with working adults.
Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro is also a high school rom-com though the first few episodes can be a bit tough for some people. Kind of need to get to at least episode 4 or 5 when they dial back the teasing a bit and start to show that they might actually care for each other.

[Oshi no Ko]

completely different show, but it's by the same author and you can feel that from the character writing. it's a healthy mix of drama and comedy with a bit of romance mixed in.
