| To define what a himbo is A dumb or naive man, who, despite looking like an asshole Chad, is actually sweet, respectful, and kind. Typically large, beefy, and relatively handsome, but friendly. Gentle giants, if you will. Perhaps the best example of a himbo is Kronk, from The Emperor’s New Groove. He is large, strong, and stupid, but extremely kind and respectful to everyone. He is also incredibly innocent and unaware of many events happening around him, as most himbos are. Though these men are not the brightest, they are kind and respectful, even gentlemanly. Who is a himbo is up for debate. For example, is Luffy from One Piece a himbo? Debatable. Is Goku from Dragon Ball a himbo? We are getting there. Is Aoi Todo a himbo? No, he has a 5000 IQ. | The only character I know of that kinda follow that description is John Coffey in The Green Mile. He was a mountain of a man and kindness incarnate, but a little dumb. I don't know if I really like that trope though since it seems to stereotypically correlate kindness and stupidity. |
| Himbos are more of a Western media thing, we don't have that many buff, attractive, dumb but well-meaning male characters in anime methinks. They often fail one of the 4. This guy from Skating anime works closest maybe  Jonathan Joestar another candidate |
