Little silly things that make your town/city/state/okrug/country stand out, those small things you dont even notice normally until you get home from being away. As for me: -bread rolls -good beer -the beautiful sound of our three languages: Czech, Vietnamese and Russian -great infrastructure, being able to count on most things working as they should and hearing my retarded countrymen complaining about trains being 5 minutes late -hearing west and east Ukrainians argue about who should have Crimea in public transport |

A toilet that actually gets flushed. EDIT: Home as in literally my house, because the furthest I've been from my house is 118 miles, and only for yearly trips to a part of Connecticut that I really like. Fall River is just a damn slum city, so there's really nothing I miss on the rare times I'm away. |

My place of birth is actually really beautiful, I've spent so long living here that i hardly notice it. It also has lots to do and see. I've been to many other places that don't have even half the stuff Chester has, and I haven't even explored it all. The town where I now live (Ellesmere Port) makes me feel so comfortable, which I haven't really felt when living in different places. And we also have free Comic Cons 3 times a year :D As for my country? I love the British weather, as I hate hot weather. And I love Steam Locomotives! I genuinely don't think I could live without them, and we have the most running that are easily accessible. When I plan holidays, I try seeing some Steam loco stuff, and other countries just don't have as much as we do :( |

Moved; don't know if I'll continue this way. I either get depressed or, because of circumstances, living in the same place is tricky for me. You mean Polar nights? Yes, they are breath-taking and feel like you're in virtual reality. I've only seen them in Arkhangelsk (the nights are much longer there as well), never been in any other far north places. |

Both, but I also have a hard time feeling too attached to a lot of everyday life stuff/things since a lot of those don't feel sentimental for me, and when they become a chore, I only feel suffocated. |

I feel like where I live could be transported to many places in the US/Canada. The nature is nice when it's not raining (or its not too dry in the summer), but lots of places have their own charm. One thing I dislike is that you need to drive everywhere, and while Washington is more bike-friendly than a lot of other places, it doesn't compare to Europe. Specifically to the home, I miss my filtered water on demand (I don't like paying for bottled water, waiting for Brita, or the taste of other tap water as much), the familiarity of my bed (and my own room to sleep in if I'm traveling with others), and reliable internet. |

My city is a place that feels alive, yet it cradles you in its serenity. Only when I return home do I truly grasp its quiet embrace, its polished cleanliness, and the deep sense of safety it radiates. For a city of its size, it is astonishingly green, a sanctuary of nature interwoven with urban life. You can lose yourself in a 10-kilometer stroll through sprawling parks, then emerge into shadowy alleys where lovers steal kisses under the soft glow of streetlights. It's in the little moments that my city unveils its charm: squirrels, bold and curious, sneaking into bedrooms for walnuts; rotund geese waddling by tranquil ponds; catfish gliding lazily beneath the water's surface. Trees stand sentinel everywhere, their presence a testament to the city's bond with nature. On a crystal-clear day, the mountains crown the horizon, their majesty both distant and near. And those days themselves - so crisp, so bright - feel like gifts. The winds that descend from the peaks give the city a voice, making windows hum in harmony, while fleeting rains wash the air without sullying the streets. On holidays, the sound of cathedral bells fills the air, their solemn, jubilant tones cascading through the streets like an ancient hymn. They echo through parks and alleys, weaving together the city and its people in shared celebration. Spring dresses the city in blossoms, while autumn drapes it in a golden carnival of leaves. And always, the people - kind, courteous, and quietly proud - offer a helping hand without hesitation, embodying the soul of the place. My city is a love letter to balance: between nature and structure, solitude and connection, the fleeting and the eternal. It's a place where the heart feels at home, and the soul, unburdened. PS: Fuck winter. |

@Zarutaku I have NOTHING against gays I am just very good at recognizing them and I am not gay. Maybe I should define gayness so we can stop having these unproductive discussions and you can finally come out of the closet. I can even give you some types of gays and stages of gayness to fuel your Fourier like mind. |

@Commit_Crime Darn, it really becomes gay if she just sits and watches two straight men having sex. The bored lady makes the whole picture terribly gay, you should always blame a woman in that case. We must bring some deer antlers and strap-on to the table, to straighten it up. |
