I love this ending song from an anime that aired in Summer 2022, "Black Summoner". The anime itself wasn't the best, but I'll never forget it for introducing me to this song.

@eischrod As a fellow Japanese song enjoyer I reccomend you I Beg You from Aimer, a very talented singer. I am not a diehard Japan anime-like song lover, but there are some that really give me the feels.

@PandaSakuron Since you're a fan of sad and hopeful music, might I recommend to you a soundtrack from a show you're currently watching? To keep you safe from spoilers I won't be saying more but if you enjoy the mood and sentiment that Sousou no Frieren puts you in, it might be worth revisiting the OST album after finishing the anime.

I'm a fan of orchestral or dramatic OSTs like The Witch from Mercury and Last Resort.

I really like Feels Like We Only Go Backwards by Tame Impala, Of course I love his other songs like New Person, Same Old Mistakes and Let it Happen for example.

As for anime lovers, one of the first songs I ended up putting in my smartphone, and still today is one of my favorites (anime related), is the opening of the anime Black Bullet. You might know the group Fripside, since its the one doing the openings of Railgun:

I have only heard Let It Happen (thanks to the Better Call Saul edits lol) so I don't know enough about their music to recommend something really close to your liking. But since you said you're open to anything, I would recommend one of my favorite bands : MGMT (https://www.youtube.com/@whoismgmt). My favorite songs by them are Kids and Time To Pretend. Hope you will like them xD

as for my favourite song, currently here it is; I really like the hyperpop scene, it tends to just be energetic enough to put me in a good mood. I also really love cute lyrics about love and stuff like that so that helps too. anything that sounds cute is something I am sure to enjoy!
