| This type of quotative expression could be considered a "hommage," in which the creator pays respect to the original artist. Unlike plagiarism, hommage is done in such a way that it is hinting or subtly noticing so that the original artist's work is recalled in people's memories. The context is the spirit of hommage. Based on the original artist's intentions, the circumstances in which it was created and published, and contemporary reevaluations, an hommage is created and presented as yet another exerted work with something new to claim.
