Fate/Extra Record isn't dead XD

I just know of it existance

But kind of amazing, just a couple of weeks ago I bought Fate/Extella, and loved Nero. Im definetly going to pick this up when it launches... its gonna be a while tho

I also wonder how the game will handle the Rani and Rin choice. To me it seems better to combine both of those into a single narrative and allow for more stages in each campaign.

From what we've seen online it appears to be a graphical and cinematic overhaul of the game.


Also I do wonder if CCC will be DLC post launch. That would be pretty interesting.

I would give my all for a remake of CCC. Possibly my favorite Fate thing in the whole franchise (Tho Avalon le Fae is one of my favorites too). But leaving my fanboyism aside, I find it hard it will be added as a DLC

I got these news on X/Social media and, ofc they can always just make it for another 10 years but perhaps they plan to finish this one and announce the successor of GO for 2026 (just an idea I got while reading this)

@KenaiPhoenix I mean I can understand moving past FGO. Perhaps they'll try and go for there original online project idea that was Apocrphya before it was turned into the LN.

Not the story but like what that online game might have looked like.

Anyways, when I was talking about "leaving GO" I mean more the fact of moving a 10 year old code system. Personally I lost an account because I didnt save a random code created byt the app, while all other Gatcha/phone games link accounts so you can never lose your progress/purchases. GO is ancient, and it might need a whole overhaul.

So new trailer dropped. So we got an improved battle system, locations have been revamped. And we have a release 2025. Bandai Namco is also involved, and that seems to be a recent addition to the production credits. As for release systems we have Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5 and Steam.

I'll search to see if I missed anything else like another trailer for a different Fate announcement but I think we've the imminent release of Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Hollow Ataraxia being remastered and Fate/Extra Record getting a release date for new year. This was a pretty good FGO fes

@AnimePedestrian Okay so by the trailer alone the gameplay and explorations just feels more fun, spontaneous and not clunky as I stated before. I mean it was obvious considering they could go all in on nowadays consoles, but I still liked how it looked, and I'm also quite the fan of Extra's and CCC's ost. I'm happy how it looked.

One thing I'm hoping for (regardless of how obsolete could be seen in today standards) is making improvement and gameplay changes in the fact of how you get to know the enemy servant identity; to not be as linear and simple as in the original game, followed by some exploring and maybe side quest would be actually funny for me.
