Both of them understand each other, but they can never EVER accept each other. Because each of them is the antithesis of everything the other believes in.

For as much as JJK gets accused of being nonstop fighting, I think Gege did such a good job at building up the dynamic between Yuji and Sukuna. We understand what both of these characters believe in and fight for, and we also understand that they cannot coexist on a basic, fundamental level. The only way their feud can end is with one killing the other.

honestly I am tired of this series it was really good but after some time I think the author messed up, previously when people compares it with Naruto I thought it could surpass it now if I think back I was totally wrong it's nowhere near the level of Naruto and it never will ✍🏼

I agree, I especially liked how this chapter showed Sukuna isn't going to get any sort of redemption. I also think its good how Gege plays with our expectations throughout the whole series with Sukuna. At the start of the series I feel like we all assumed Yuji and Sukuna's relationship would be sort of the same as with Naruto and Kurama, just for it to be the complete opposite. Even in chapter 265, a lot of people I spoke to were expecting Sukuna to get some sort of change of heart but clearly it doesn't seem like that'll happen.
While its obviously nothing groundbreaking, I still think for the most part that Gege's writing is good but it really is such a shame we likely will not see much more of these sorts of interactions in the coming chapters.

I think this final arc, alongside Demon Slayer’s final arc, really shows how barebones these new gen shōnen series are compared to older ones, the rushed Thousand Year Blood War of Bleach and the flawed Kaguya plot twist in Naruto are far better written than this mess of a final arc

Then stop reading and engaging with it? What is wrong with people nowadays forcing themselves to read something they clearly don't care to even try to understand? It's pathetic and makes you look like a miserable person that no one wants to be around.

This was such a generational chapter and Gege Akutami is such a generational mangaka. The fact that people refuse to open their eyes and see these dynamics and character interactions is so damn sad to see, considering just how deep the writing goes.

@neel_senpai It happened the classic in shonen series. Wrapping everything and making a decent final arc. I remember being actually excited after the arc of Gojo's past and Shibuya Incident, but this last one is... Yeah, a mess, as you said. Just as what happened to plenty of others, Boku no Hero as an example as it finished today and fell under the same problem imo.

yeah, it started pretty good honestly it had better start than Naruto, being starting 19 years after Naruto and all ....
it fell off like other series - mha, chainsaw man(it's becoming tai-hen day by day 😂) ...but the problem is, these so called JJK fanboys can't accept that...
honestly cuz they are mostly new anime watchers who loves action and all they just can't accept the reality so no point arguing with them it's just your time and effort waste ✍🏼 so just block these brain dead people...

(btw a 🤡 guy coping so hard I had to block him, you can often see these clowns just block them and move on, problem solved 😂)

I mean I do not really mind fanboys that much; everyone is entitled to what they want on the internet and forums. Rejecting other people's experiences and thoughts about another series, as banal as they may be, is something that for me is the epitome of boredom, and there are few things I hate more than boredom. One Piece is on my top 3 shonen nekketsu and the fandom is so horrible and boring it doesn't even open up to a proactive debate or talk with them lol so is better to not engage with them.

But I laughed so hard reading all the responses. I guess I gained something for reading it all lol.

Exactly. With each passing chapter (or a couple chapters sometimes) we get more insight into their dynamic and its honestly fun to see.

This new chapter is honestly pretty good. A break from all that fighting and simply a discussion between two men who co-existed with each other and have way different ideologies.
