Let me be an asshole for a brief moment of time, and ironize on some points of this product.

Ok, so I’m not going to say any garbage about how ridiculous is that you’re considered fluent (even “somewhat fluent”) when you’re only able to say «милашка» (a cutie), because apparently you are considered fluent if you can make a simple self-introduction… Well, that works on YouTube (shoutout to polyglot YouTubers) and TikTok, and who the hell am I to argue with the zoomers, right?
(Also, I recently got nihongo jouzu’ed on Japanese Discord server for improperly using は and が (which I noticed i bit later myself); guess I’m somewhat fluent in Japanese, and my self-esteem definitely went up a bit).

As far as I remember, Alya’s from Vladivostok, and, oh shit… That’s my favorite radio in GTA IV! Wait, what…
Anyway, Vladivostok is basically something like the Saint Petersburg of the Far East, which technically means that Alya’s not Russian, because even every mosquito knows that the Moscovites, питерские (guys from St. Petersburg; IDK how to translate) aren’t Russians and those cities aren’t Russia. While living outside of MKAD does technically make you a legitimate Russian, there are some exceptions, so please note that.

And last but not least, the reason why the main boy understands Russian is because he used to watch Russian movies with his grandpa in the childhood. Kinda didn’t work in my case — I used to watch a lot of B. B. King’s interviews and didn’t learn or understand shit…
But, man, I kinda feel pity for that boy. Like, watching Russian movies, bro… That’s literally a form of torture. I grew up watching that shit and have ended growing up into a moron (which you can already tell by now). Just what did he watch? Brat, Brat 2, Boomer, Brigada, Zhmurki or something? I hope he remembers that when you enter a prison cell you’re supposed to say “Вечер в хату, пацаны” (“Good evening to your home, guys”??? like wtf), that you use a plastic cup instead of a phone receiver when you’re building a telecommunications networks with the adjacent cells, and that there’s a prison hierarchy, according to which those who committed such crimes as rape are labeled “петухи” (cocks; the bird, man, the bird) and are periodically raped in their b*hole by all the other cell dwellers.
(very important information, make sure to remember)

Anyway, I somehow managed to restore the control over my schizophrenia, so I’m gonna end here.
