Me as I ordered it over the counter, me to myself in my head: "are you serious Danz, you're actually gonna try this? All because a discord friend dared you?" But yeah I ordered it, and my goodness - the entire pie & mash place I was at and ordered from: looked around and turned to me. 1) I was significantly younger than the demographic in the establishment. 2) I think most customers there on first impressions thought what I was ordering might be considered exotic. They probably were thinking "Someone actually ordered that? I mean it's on the menu sure but like nobody tries/orders that" But yeah as soon as I saw the appearance of it in person + the smell is curious -> I truly thought "i've made a grave mistake" and now I also have the eyes of several other customers on me. But yeah I did take a bite of it, and it's not bad. I wouldn't say I'd love it, its like a 6/10 "fine". But my goodness, the smell + aesthetics can be off-putting. It's almost not worth the trouble of ordering again in the future, but it was worth a try. SQ |
