Why do you like Slice of Life anime?

I like slice of life anime because they're a good way to relax, sometimes to have a good laugh, or go "awww this is adorable".

It's enjoyable, relaxing, and often relatable. Also, if it has a comedy tag, then it's also the best possible type of comedy imo.

I like it when the characters strive for something, like Kanda Sorata in Sakurasou strived to be a game developer and Yatora strived to be a painter in Blue Period. Also when they face life problems like Welcome to NHK and Sangatsu no Lion. It just makes me feel moved. I also like when the theme being doing otaku stuff like cosplaying, going to comiket, making manga, but not in a serious work place like Shirobako.

I also like when slice of life got mixed with a bit of supernatural or mystery. But not too heavy. Like Hyouka or Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko. Even ordinary school life is very good to me, just don't get too many romance in it.
